the Clock Tower series , I think is pretty scary , also another scary game is Silent Hill. Both these games just freak you out. Also when I was young Home Alone for Sega Genesis kinda scarred me , that game was creepy.

I'd have to say Fatal Frame scares the crap out of me. The sound gives off a ominous feeling while you're playing so I don't know what to expect when I'm turning around a corner.

Back when I was in middle school Resident Evil 2 scared me sooo bad... lol. I couldn't play that game in the dark without constantly looking behind me to make sure that something wasn't creeping up on me. I loved that game sooo much back then for it's ability to make me quirm so much.

Okay whoever said DOOM3 was crap graphically then its your graphics card and you have no clue about all the graphics tweaks on the net I play DOOM3 off an ATI Radeon and with the tweaks its 100 times more realistic than the untweaked version. But for the actual topic......Scary Games for me......DOOM 3 for sure its an amazingly advanced game and when you play it on 6.1 surround with all the lights out and youve got your pc hooked up to your big screen tv acting as the moniter .... oh hell yeah its scary as hell. Ill agree with most on here Fatal Frame is another good series for scare tactics. I really think they should make the game "Stay Alive' From the movie into a real pc game itd be awesome. And yeah Resident Evil 4 without a doubt that game was just breathtaking looks wise and atmosphere wise.

I totally agree. But after watching that movie, I don't think I'll be reading any séances if I'm asked to. lols~Anywhoss, I'm going to say Kuon is the biggest culprit of scaring the pants off a you (and prolly wetting them too). It has the most eeriest tune of chimes and little girls singing. I HATE THAT. And the part where you look through an eyehole.. such a cool idea, but I almost had a heart attack. =.= It took me and my sis hours to get to the first cutscene cuz we kept throwing the controller at each other, yelling 'you do it!'~~I really think they should make the game "Stay Alive' From the movie into a real pc game itd be awesome.
Gosh I love scary games. :yaypsp:Oh and Silent Hill 3+4 and the Fatal Frame series are among my favs. x]

For me, I think it would be the Silent Hill series.I didn't find Resident Evil 4 really scary. I mean, how could you find any game scary when you're toting an infinite rocket launcher? Heck, I felt sympathetic for the poor enemies and decided to stick to the Mauser Pistol except for when I'm facing mobs or bosses. But if you still find that scary, try killing the regenerators with just your knife. Know that's what I call a challenge.

FATAL FRAME!!!Resident Evil and Silent Hill are nowhere near scary, justa bunch of zombies n funny lookin monsters.That's my opinion anyway.

Silent Hill is very scary. Play it during night and it will scare the hell out of you. This game has such a great spooky atmosphere.

I don't reeally like horror games but I think that fatal frame/project zero games are the best. The lady in the first one that kills you with one touch is just freaky..
