indigo prophecy disturbed me somewhat.i dont usually play games that could be considered scary haha. i think 2nd on my list would have to be nba street or something.

Well, to me it all depends on what kind of scare you're looking for.If you want a deep psychological scare then I'd suggest the Silent Hill series.Or if you want a "Oh my god what's gonna creep up on me" kinda scare then go with something like Fatal Frame or Siren.But like I said, it's all in what you're looking for.

The original Silent Hill freaked me out alot. You're just walking around all quiet and all of a sudden the radio starts buzzing and a giant bird/zombie thing swoops in and starts attacking you. My heart still jumps everytime I hear that noise. I have got to find another copy of that game.

Silent Hill 2 was quite scary - walking into a silent, empty room and suddenly these rotting torso-less creatures drop down from the ceiling making that weird noise. Ick.

i havent played fatal frame yet but the scariest game imo is the suffering the sound and gameplay in the dark just relly seam to get you

Resident evil isn't scary persay, its more things jump out and startle you kinda scary than it is terrifying. and the zombies make me laugh more than scare me. I mean they are hilarious sometimes and everyone RE game besides a few have the same generic zombie sounds. Play the games a few times and listen to the zombies and you realize they have the same moans in RE2, that you find in RE3, kinda gets old after awhile. and in RE3 there was one point where the zombies looked like they were dancing in a conga line. I burst out laughing when I saw this. (I think its RE3, either that or survivor I can't remember which.) if your scared of Resident evil, honestly you must be scared of your own shadow or something. as for the game siren as someone mentioned in a previous post, I found that game boring and more disturbing that scary.

Well, it probably depends on the type of environment/mindset you're playing in. If you allow yourself to get scared and have fun then you'll find it thrilling.I for one, found it scary through my first round. Everything after that was just laughs.My choice? Resident Evil 4. I played this game, but i forgot what it was called.You were like sent to jail for something and then you fell asleep but you wake up in the middle of the night and here these strange noises. The you look next to you and see this thing with like 5 eyes and its starring at you. Then it shows you its hands in a mirror an its got like sniper rifles for fingers. Oh.... sometimes i still have bad dreams * shivers while teeth a chattering *p.s. OFF TOPIC:

when re2 first came out it was the best game ever and if you play through the first time not knowing all that stuff is gonna try to jump you, it can be scary. silent hill was alright.. i could never get into those games because the controls were lame and nothing compared to RE.

Resident Evil 4 scared me pretty good a couple times..Especially when its really quiet and you hear your footsteps then as soon as you so far a wolf or zombie makes a loud noise and makes you jump right out of your shoes! 'God I hate it when they do that' is usually muttered after blowing the ***** up with a shotgun
