great graphics tekken 5... but still street fighter III third strike is the best for me

Hey SF was a good fighting game...in the early 90's. The sad thing is, people still want 2D fighting games, that do nothing more then rip off Street Fighter. But to say that Tekken wouldn't exist without SF is a joke. Kung Fu was one of the first fighting games and is still a lot of fun. Perhaps you should go a little more old school to find the games that built SF because until SF2 came out, Street Fighter was a crap game. (if you ever played the original like I have, you know what a joke and no staying power that game had) At least Tekken continues new stories, has great CGI endings and unlike SF, does come out with Tekken 4, Tekken 4 Turbo, Super Tekken 4 Turbo or Super Tekken 4 Turbo EX....SF was a money munching game that the mindless masses just kept buying. Tekken and MK are the SF killers, because while SF failed as a 3d fighter and is left in the dust. Tekken and MK has progressed and I believe will continue to progress as fighting games as the years go by and will TRULY be the game that raises the bar of Fighting games.

i can go on and on and how 2D fighters rule over 3D anyday, but i'd rather not do it right now. But SF3=best.tourney.play.ever. Can't wait to go to EVO this year. And the orginal SF blow, why do you think it's hardly mentioned? And now that you mention Tekken and stories, Tekken has one of the worst storylines ever in any fighting games, which is only beaten by DOA in terms of sheer stupidity. KOF has the best canon since it so broad. SO in short, SFA3, KOF98 and SF3>VF44FT>Garou>Soul Calibur>Tekken>MK>DOATekken will never raise the bar in fighting games, nor will MK. Tekken only raised the bar in arcade to home conversions. The last bar raiser was VF4 and it's 2 expansions, evo and final tuned.oh, and Capcom never made the EX series. Those were Akira. IF you want a good 3D fighter from Capcom, pick up Project Justice.

thats right i've played fighting games all my life and i can say 2d games are the best .........its got to be gameplay that wins all the time ........but there are some good 3d games out there if it was'nt for capcom and snk fighting games would be s**tIF you want a good 3D fighter from Capcom, pick up Project Justice.
project justice is a good 3d game oh did you know that the first combo made was in sf2 by ken....... peace........ out

hahaha well that might be a breakthru moves in tekken games ^^ and he got even more frustrating moves where he can make u defenseless in the air in slow motion ready to be juggledAnd Jinpichi is the most annyoing boss ever. He has ranged attacks, and a fireball that takes 50% damage. Really annoying
, but I know a lot other games with more annoying last bosses where I need three men to beat them if u know what I mean or maybe it just because I'm plain sucks at that game. Oh and I think Heihachi is dead tho' and he won't be seen in T5, well he might be awakened later in another Tekken in cyborg form if they want to make it . And regarding 2D or 3D fighting games I prefer the 3D ones since I think they have less ki or chi moves like shooting something from their hands, feet or whatever so all the punch, kick and throw moves looks real and just plain badass ^^. Then again it's good to see super or special moves which u need the power bar to use it cause it looks like an impossible moves and yet deadly or should I say frenzy B) .

KOF booses are the best bosses ever. I can rape 98 Rugal with Athena. Chuck a pyscho ball, watch him jumop, pyscho sowrd him. Damn, u r right ! I only played it in Arc so I didn't know Heihachi was included in the PS2 version (there is no Heihachi in arc rightOH, and Heihachi isn't dead. Seriously, this is Tekken. ? ), or maybe the arc in my country hasn't been unlocked .Do u use the arc stick that namco bundled it with the T5 ? I think it's the Hori stick.

Heihachi is in the arcade version, he's the last time released guy along with a random select box. I think it's like 4 weeks or somethingAnd yeah, i use the Hori Stick. Hori makes the best accessories ever.

i really like the collision detecttion in tekeen 5, theres a lot more crunch that tekken 4, 5 is definatly a bettr sequel. SO far my only disappointment is Ginpachi (if thats how you spell it), yay another fireball chucking pattern led last boss. Devil Jin is cool though. ^^Also, the first combos came from sf2 as a gliche, two-in ones where special moves canceled basic move animation were never intended yet have become a 2d fighting staple, how ironic

I love all the tekkens accept tag tournament i think that was there worst but iv read up about 5 and it looks pretty good. (yoshimitsu looks weird )

I got the game, and unlocked everyone too. This game rocks, Kazuya still looks badass oh and one of the things u can buy for Jin (not devil) are a pair of white wings and a halo lol he just isn't evil enough to be a mishima

and the armor makes him looks like an alien lol. Seems like he got a grudge with Bryan but I'll stick with Bryan to kick his donkey or I'm the one who getting kicked .Can't wait to play against my friend this coming saturday B)
