The first one is better, especially because u have 2 type that long as code in the second but it wouldnt make sense if u could do it in the first, but overall great game

not really, the main story is different at the start, because you start off with the people who were kidnapped by the baddies of the first one

Just start wth the first one, if you don't, you'll be confused about Isaac and gang on Lalivero, unless you are some genius or something, you can deduce how it all went, then good for you pal.

I have them both & they're really good.I totally liked them both.When i got them all my time went to playing it to the finish.I love this type of RPG-games.

Golden Sun 1 & 2 are cool!!!But they should think of producing more games related to Golden Sun, maybe make a new series but similar gameplay. If there is a game with similar gameplay please tell me.

i loved both games: they had excellent storylines even by RPG standards (in my opinion anyway). You really won't lose too much by playing 2 before 1, but i'd highly suggest playing 1 first for the sake of the continuously flowing story, and for transferring your old character stats and stuff. Makes the game more fun as well.

Golden sun is really a masterpiece...I love it. highly recommendated. Dont just rent it or ask it borrowed, BUY IT! (or download it )

Both games were really good. I liked how the story managed to shift to the other players and yet managed to incorporate things from the first game like it should, considering it's a sequel. I actually beat Golden Sun 2 first because I borrowed GS1 from a friend and didn't have it with me at all times. Eventually I did beat GS1 and I have to say that I liked the ending to both of them.
