played x thru 4 except for 3, or whichever one keep crashing on my snes emulator. 4 was fun, except I wish the pc version you could have some type of volume control.

X is my favourite subseries en megaman franchise (Z is very good but i prefer X)i tend to rush through the game, good old time fast paced plataform games....my favs are x3 and x6 (except for those annoyings reploids...)

i beat up to x6, ps..if u good enough you can get the haduken(spelling error) and ryu outfit for megaman x1

really depends on how you look at games. if you like graphics, play x4-x6. if you like the originals, play x1

Ha, thats the EXACT same reason I like X3 the most. Yes I have played X1-X4, they are all VERY fun. X4 is probably my second favorite of them because of the introduction of zero as a fully playable character, makes the game much funnerI've played through X1-X3 (beaten X1 and X3), but haven't tried X4 yet. I just recently downloaded it though and will get around to giving it a go sometime soon. I'm sure it's really good :PHowever, my fav in the series would be X3 because of the ability to get the gold X w/zero saber. I ended up beating the final boss in less than 30 seconds because of it (2 successful hits with the saber will do the trick).

i think x-1 to x-3 were all easy games... i was such a hardcore player at one point i was able to beat all sigma bosses without taking a hit... for me i think the hardest x game in the series was x-5... but i did eventually beat all megaman games... except for x-8 it's the first time i heard or read about it today... think i'm going to have to go do a bit of shopping now...

Gee,I was killing the final days of vacation replaying Mega Men X... 
The best of the bunch would be X2 - the most "balanced" game in terms of stages, upgrades, secrets...

For some reason, I never played X2 because I could never find a proper rom then, now I am just plain lazy. And I think I am only half way through X1, only completed X3 and 4.

I played X, a bit of X3, and finished X4 (my favorite) on the Saturn. After that a played a bit of X5 - X8, but never finished any of them.

I love the MegaMan series, but especially the X games. I make it my personal mission to own hardcopies of all of them. I've only recently finished MMX8, and am wondering if they're going to leave the series here like they did Megaman 8 (and just let the Zero series pick up a hundred years or so after).But yeah, in my opinion the first four X games were the benchmark for all other MegaMan X/Zero/ZX games that have come out and will remain classics to me.

Yeah, I've played all the Mega Man games, even the lame ones for the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. Mega Man X8 is actually REALLY good for the folks who lasted with the series that long. I just recently finished the Mega Man Zero series from GBA which is also pretty good.Stevo
