As long as they work. I wish I still had my old Nes but I was too young back then and my mom decided to just sell it without asking when she bought me the Snes. New consoles don't make old ones obsolete in my opinion.

If your a gamer and you throw anything video game related away you should be smacked, because thats just crazy and wasteful. I keep mine for the nostalgia and collectors value. Alot of it isn't worth to much, but you would be surprised some of the gems you might find in your collections. Its always good to actually play an old-school game with alot of memories every once in a while too. Still have my NES, SEGA, SNES, and PS1/2 sitting next to all my new gens.

Keep them, unless there's a backwards compatability function, then I sell the old console.

Kept my sega mastersystem, classic gameboy and gameboy color. Don't want to throw something like that out! All that sentimental value! :)edit: oh right, and my playstation!
