Here's what I'd like to see. 1) Characters that aren't clones. Pikachu/Pichu, and Link/Young Link I can understand, but what was up with Ganondorf being a slower moving Captain Falcon clone? That almost made me quit playing. And everything else is unnessecary. At least Mario and Luigi had different moves in Melee.2) Maybe some character-specific items...for example, Link could get the Biggoron Sword. Anyone can pick it up, but only Link would be able to use it. Anyone else would only be able to perform a weak throw. Hell...maybe they could make already existing items into character-specific items...another example, make the Star Rod a little stronger and make it so that only Kirby can use it. 3) More non-playable bosses. They could be different for each character...for example, Samus could fight Kraid, Ridley, and/or Mother Brain. 4) Put all the character variations (i.e. Mario/Dr. Mario) into one character and when you choose that character, you'd have a choice of which version, instead of making them separate characters. This would allow more room for new characters. Also, more variations...like Fusion Samus. She'd be weaker than Samus, but her missiles would freeze opponents. And, assuming that the Ice Missile would still be forward+B, you could smash it to launch a Diffusion Missile, in which, once it hits something, frost would spread out esoterically, freezing, but not damaging, anyone that touches it...I could see it......well that's all I can think of...
