Final Fantasy Eight, by far the best game of all time (in my opinion, so don't go saying it isn't) I absolutely loved everything about it (except Adel, she was a *****, but she was also evil so you weren't supposed to like her). Excellent storyline.

Storyline-wise, there is nothing that can beat the Shakesperean depth of Final Fantasy Tactics. No, not Advanced. That one was just a weird kiddy fare (we ARE talking about the better story, not the better game after all)

Crono Trigger for SNES.FFVII and FFtactics for Play Station.Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones for GBA.Legend of Zelda for NES.Poke'mon for GB.Poke'mon again for GBC.Disgiea one and two for PS2.Fable for Xbox.I'm not sure if I spelled Disgiea right but I'll be back later when I can remember more.

fire emblem the sacred stones..enemies turn into alliesallies turn into enemyFRIENDS TODAY, FOE TOMORROW!that's a good story (in my opinion)

final fantasy 7 is the best of course.. that's why they made a movie for it and then created lot's of games connected and related to the ff7 storyline.. final fantasy tactics is great too..

If you like racing NFS carbon or GTA even tho it is not a tgrue rpg it is kind of one because you can choose what you want to do but you still hav to folow a storyline

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne to me have a very unique story line., but I would have to agree with the majority of you which is FFVII
