I'd have to say Digimon, they get away with alot more than Pokemon.

Digimon tries to not suck. The people who make pokemon on the other hand." hey lets have ash fight another 8 gym battles and lets replace brock with some one who has a ridiculous sounding job with pokemon in the name. how about pokemon racer. and then they will travel around and fight pokemon they have never seen before. Ash will have a new rival with a generic name like Joe and he will battle and lose to him even though his pikachu is like level 100."Digimon at least attempted to intertain and not make another billion.

I would have to say Digimon. Even though every monster had -mon on the end.Pokemon seemed ok at first, then it spiraled downhill into a giant heap of a terribly boring storywith more pokemon then books in a small library.Digimon may be shorter, but the plot in the first season can still keap my attention

Maybe if Pokemon have a good storyplot, then I will watch. Digimon plot better. The event is lead by a series of course. unlike pokemon because they want only

Digimon seems to be a more "grown up" type of anime compared to Pokemon. As pokemon seems to be on the childish side.

pokemon is way better. the only downside is the story that sumtimes get a lil bit cheap and childish.. digimon series however, in the latest season offers a more mature story plot, but i guess thats it..

The first two digimon series was awesome but later it sucked. It goes same for Pokemon as well. But still, I would vote for Digimon because I liked the anime and I still like it now, though I don't watch it anymore.

Digimon gets my vote because if you think about it, Pokemon can only evolve and not devolve like Digimon can either at will or when they get hurt. That leaves more room for untapped potential to be brought out.
