Digimon all the way! Even though Pokemon was created before, I think Digimon has more of a storyline then Pokemon. All you get is a trainer who catches Pokemon to become the best while Digimon had things like real crisises (or however it's supposed to be spelled).

Pokemon is the best! :gay2: The beginning seasons in Pokemon were the best because of the relationships between the characters and the Pokemon! I find that Diamond and Pearl isn't as good as the older seasons. ='(

Digimon and Pokemon are on same level for me. I like some Digimons, for example Duskmon, but in terms of favoritism of monsters, Pokemon holds the upper hand on my list, because some of the pokemons are very cool. In particular, I like Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Mewtwo.

OK as much as I'd hate to say it Pokemon has Digimon beat on all accounts except Anime. The first two series of Digimon were amazing compared to Pokemon. I mean Graymon, Angimon and Gurumon where just beastly, and their Ultimate and Mega digi forms where just as cool... not to mention Omnimon was godly... However like I said game wise Pokemon wipes the floor with digimon and really to be honest for that reason Pokemon actually wins, because they keep coming out with games that continue to amazingly fun.

Gah, >-< their both such good Anime. But Pokemon has out lived it's life by like, 10 years @_@. They've even changed Ash's voice X.X. So Digimon ftw :(

Pokemon is much better than Digimon. I think Digimon copied a little ideas from the pokemon creators. Lol.

In many different ways Digimon ended up setting itself apart from Pokemon in Art Style and in the initial Plot.Digimon has earned itself points for being a Good Anime...So I'd personally choose Digimon over Pokemon now...

Both were really interesting way back in the day... but I gotta' say Pokemon, it's like... for me... the Grand-daddy of my love of anime atm. It started me off with the game, so it has sentimental value to it. Although the Pokemon anime got way too boring/ formulatic/same kind of things happened each ep for me, so I think I enjoyed the Digimon anime more. But for general awesomeness, probably Pokemon.

I would have to say digimon is superior to pokemon, not only in the fact they are far more unique in ideas.. But the games are always different.Pokemon gets boring and samey. They haven't really changed the mind numbingly simple "go catch monsters so you can be the best trainer ever." thing.. you always get six pokemon, the battle system is ALWAYS the same, you can only know four moves ever, and you are always some little kid sent out to catalog 100...200...400+ little monsters for some old geezer named after a tree.Digimon likes to mix things up.. Although there's always the 'save the world' thing, they handle it in different ways each time. Digimon World: You raise a Digimon through care not level grind, and literally train it to go around saving the world they put you in. Sort of a True "monster raising" style. When you partiner dies you gain an egg to raise all over again, and you continue to learn new skills as you restore order and raise your partiner through different forms.Digimon World 2: You travel though boobytrapped mazes in upgradable tanks with a team of up to 3 digimon on the field when you literally 'run into' monsters. There is a leveling system but it's capped every 10 levels or so until you evolve your partiners or combine them together (done manually i might add). You also can try to 'befriend' new creature, provided you give them enough presents and are strong enough to convince them. There's alot of planning and preperation involved in getting through each map successfully. Digimon World 3: Alittle different from the other two games so far, this takes place inside the setting of a virtual reality game in which you get one of three teams of digimon to accompany the character through the game. YOuy can gain new partiners, but it requires some fairly difficult miniboss fights. The evolution system is interesting in that you can select prior to battle or in battle which digimon you want to use band at what evolution it should be. There's soem strategy in how to use digivolving, de-volving, and DNA Digivolving to the maximum effect. There is also the "blast meter" which fills gradually as you take damage, whne it maxes out your current partiner changes into a much stronger form for a short duration. You do have to go around and defeat different area leaders and bosses to progress through, but this plays out more like an RPG storyline.Digimon Rumble Arena: A fairly simple game, If you've ever played Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber, or Mugen, you can probley pick this up fairly quick. You can change forms and collect items during the melee to tip the scales but thats about all, also has distructable stages and climate effects. This are just a few examples of course..

digimon. mainly because pokemon is the same old thing for every game in the main series. also the anime gets on my nerves because all they say is their name and they can actually understand one another
