Digimon wins it for me in terms of the games and the anime. In both instances it presents a better plot, although that is hardly something to write home about. As someone else has already pointed out the plot does change between the digimon world games, whereas there is little difference in the pokemon games.

I LOVE MY POKEYMANS!!! lol. but seriously pokemon easily wins digimon. Digimon kind of scared me with the Eggs that had weird patterns on them. Digimon also tends to rip off pokemon dont you think so too... [insert random name]?

Digimon at least it wasn't the same every episode and the action is much better. Pokemon just dragged on and on when will ash be a pokemon master?

Ahahaha...this has been done so many times before.But as a kid, I always preferred Digimon. Pokemon always seemed so repetitive after they went to Hoenn.

lets compare:1.Pokemon:contains 490 pokemonthe anime keeps on going on with similar goalsthe anime gets a repetition fee after th first seaongame is virtually impossible2.Digimon:contains unknown becauses new ones are constantly being createdthe anime changes every seasonthe anime is good for the first season but gets worstgame is okayresult:I like digimon but pokemon games are more addicting so I prefer pokemon

Whoever said Digimon was ripped off of Pokemon is wrong. In Japan Digimon was aired before Pokemon was by at least a few months. It was released in America in the opposite order, but I forget why.As for my favorite, I'm afraid it's Pokemon. Better games, way less evolving cut scenes. And the same character didn't end up having to be called by three or four different names each episode. Though the Electric Guitar Riff version of the Opening Theme for Digimon in it's season 3 was amazing.... Sure Takato's and Guilomon's show wasn't quite the gem that the original was, but that intro was awesome.

I definitely haven't seen a good Digimon game around, and the animes are about even, so Pokemon bumps out its competitor for now. I must say, they both have excellent concepts, however.

For me, the Pokemon console games are better than the Digimon ones. But I tremendously enjoyed the Digimon Card Battle in the old Playstation and the Pokemon CCG!I like the Digimon anime better than the Pokemon series.As for toys, I never got to collect neither.I guess in the end, it'll depend on what I'll feel at the time -- Right now, I'm hankering on some Digimon Card Battle LOL

eh they both are shabby, but pokemon seems to be holding their ground more firmly. my votes on pokemon, only for the reason that it has more to do in the video game, and digimon just died, somewhere between digimon world 2003 and the ps2.both got flaws, both got claws, what can i say?
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

Digimon FTW.Why? Cause, as much as I've seen Pokemon each Ep is the same, only the side characters differs. It's series are so silly, that i can hardly believe that. Ofcourse, you may say the same thing about digimon. Well, at least there are not so much of digimon eps.As for games, i never liked any Pokemon Game, as for Digimon, I played all of them on psx. 5168435 times.
