Pokemon is much better than Digimon in everyway

I prefer Digimon for a number of reasons. The first being you had a reason to watch all the episodes. Miss one episode and you'd be confused as to what the heck is going on now, whereas in Pokemon, as long as you see the gym battles in the right order, you haven't missed much. Second, Digimon handles death in a more mature way. In Pokemon, it looks like death doesn't exist. The pokemon 'fainted', they're covered in funny lines, but otherwise unharmed. Also, the trainers are never in any danger of being killed. I've lost count of the number of times Pikachu has shocked Ash. In Digimon, if someone gets hit by a big attack, flat on their back, and injured. The digimon don't have it any easier, since if one gets hit by a big enough attack, they dissolve into nothingness. Thirdly, the digimon simply had personality where the pokemon didn't.

Digimon beats pokemon hands down i mean y are u all saying the digimon world games suck the 2nd one does but all the rest are awesome pokemon games get boring so easilyEditand also the fact that the music in digimon is just so awesome especially in the movie and the first 2 seasons

I liked Pokemon since about 2003 as I have heard about them on various media articles. I find Digimon a little below-average.

Pokemon introduced way more characters than digimon. Digimon gave you a pack of their monsters, and had you follow them around fighting one or two guys every few episodes. There was a different pokemon being introduced in each episode. I go with Digimon!
