Well, honestly, though I prefer Pokemon mainly due to spritability...Digimon owns Pokemon any day of the week.Although the newest generation of Digimon is just plain annoying <<;;

I would have to say Pokemon because of the games, but i loved how you digivolve back to your rookie form in digimon.

Digimon are cooler in my opinion because they can talk. Also, a digimon can digivolve into more than one thing in the games, unlike pokemon which have a fixed track of evolution

Pokemon was first and set the stage for addictive games everywhere...And more to the point better funded and better anime quality...

Honestly speaking tie for me. Both of these series had different significance for me. Both of them went down hill after a certain point. For pokemon I liked the games and the first three seasons of the show. I liked digimon but it went down hill after the movie. When they added the digimon to human fusion thing.

pokemon because wider range of "things" to catch and controlPlus digimon gets pretty old after awhile while pokemon still stays fun =)

i say pokemon because it has so many things to do, but digimon is not bad either, but pokemon was my first game so i am really more addicted to it then digimon

i say digimon, cause ive watched it since the day it became a showpokemon seems to repetitive, and i find it sad that you could just trade away a pokemon for another cause its stronger

Pokemon.I think Pokemon came before, but I remember watching a lot of Digimon.The Digimon games aren't up to par as well.

I prefer Pokemon. A lot less "mons" to deal with. There may be 493 of them, but I'm getting good at recognizing them.

I never watched digimon a lot...but from what I was it was downgrade rip off of pokemon

I always liked the Digimon anime more, but really, it has an entirely different theme. Pokemon tries to recreate the "gotta catch 'em all" feel of the games (more or less successfully at times) while Digimon is a fairly straightforward fighting shonen anime, except with 'mons, and that genre just appeals to me more. I didn't even know until a few weeks ago that it was originally based on a Tamagotchi-like virtual pet.

the pokemon games are better, but i have to give digimon the vote. i thought it was pretty cool that the digimon could actually talk while pokemon just repeated their name or growled

pokemons better digimon doesnt even have a main story line to follow pokemon has a set story with conflicts and everything... digimon has too few monsters

Pokémon its so much easier to follow when they don't downgrade at the end of battle it always confused me as a child.
