i prefer tie for this comparison.pokemon came earlier, but digimon is not that long as pokemon.particularly, digimon has impressed me more than pokemon has.digimon downgrades so much after 1 st season.truely, the pokemon 1st season was impressive, but i still like the johto league more...

pokemon was cool i think the games sitll cool. digimon was a lil too discontinuous.... iono i think pokemons a lil too kiddy now in the new season.

I tend to think everything else that came after copied pokemon, like monster rancher and digimon so pokemon for the win

i would go with digimon cause i like the game digimon world and its better than the pokemon games. Plus in the anime the battle senes r better. But the manga 4 digimon just plainly sucks.

i think that digimon was creative at the time....but,... it was kind of repetative, even more than pokemon, AND HOW CAN YOU GET MORE REPETATIVE THAN THAT!!!!!!!! oh well...

Pokemon gets my vote because digimon is a complete rip off of pokemon - can`t you tell the way the creatures look in digimon .Nope Chrystallene, this hasn't been done before. I just did the search myself.Anyway, I favour Pokemon. Digimon came out later and seems to be an obvious ripoff of pokemon (come on! Digi-Evolve???). Secondly, the pokemon video games are far superior IMO. Digimon World games are just too repitive (yeah, so is pokemon, but I still had fun with it).

OK, let me make something very clear for a second. DIGIMON CAME BEFORE POKEMON, so don't just argue that digimon was a rip-off.Not that I don't like Pokemon, it's just that calling something a rip-off when it actually came previously is a tad bit unprofessional.For me, I enjoy both but will have to go with Digimon. There are some serious issues and struggles in Digimon, whereas in Pokemon it always seems to be either happy-go-lucky time or kick-team-rocket's-sorry-donkey time.

I would vote Pokemon. When I was a kid that would be my favorite series. I still have a small pickachu doll in the basement. ^^

both of them were good, but i think that i will have to go with digimon. it did have a better plot than pokemon. (hmmm.... i think someone already said that.... okay, then i'll say something else.) also, the monsters were cooler looking, not quite so cutesy.

Digimon all the way. Since it has the traditional plot, normal day at school, somthing unexplainable is happening in the real world, boy/girl gets visited by a supernatural creature, boy/girl goes to another world, boy/girl must save the world, the end.

Hmm Pokemon all the way, i still have a soft spot for them sometimes, every single name of each one is still in my head lol. Plus i agree every DIgimon ending in "Mon" was so gay
