in my opinion digimon is far better than pokemon for example take the creatures in digimon which would you rather havea cutesy wootsy dragonite or an enormous kick donkey machinedramon for me theres no contest

It depends whether you mean in terms of the structure of the anime or the general all round franchise of the individual seriesPersonally I prefer the Digimon Anime, but can't resist picking up one of the games, where as recent pokemon anime series are so legnthy with waaaaaaaay to many filler episodes.But Digimon World I think is a pile of crap to be quite honest, It's good for a while, but has barely any storyline whatsohever.

As far the games go Pokemon seems to have the better foothold at the moment... *sighs* If only they'd bring out a decent gba rpg version of Digimon...However the digimon anime far far outdoes the pokemon cartoon. The digimon animes have decent plots for a start, the episodes aren't just pure repetition and stupid Team Rocket encounters and as to those people who say Digimon is aimed at kids, name me five "kiddy aimed" cartoons where you get death, cos gasp shock horror some characters don't make it all the way through the seasons.

plus this topic has been done so many times anyways digimon dues to its more mature stories and digimon actually get killed they don't faint.This is really like the battle of the worst concepts ever.I will give the nod to poekmon since it's the original though.

Digimon wasn't really anything more than another Poke-knockoff that sprang up with countless others once it became evident how much money was being made over the titanic fad that was Pokemon.
