I think pokemon is much better because digimon is just a copy of pokemon

Pokemon. Digimon doesn't look as cool as Pokemon. Although Digimon tried very hard to be original, it was very obvious that Digimon was out to compete with Pokemon. The show wasn't good, the game wasn't good. Pokemon would win game-wise and show-wise.

Digimon got old after season 4, while Pokemon has a certain appeal that keeps you coming back for more. So its Pokemon for me.

In terms of game Pokemon wins hands down, in terms of anime, pokemon lacked the dark allure of digimon and I personally thought digimon was better - but why do more ppl like pokemon? Mainly because pokemon was aimed at younger viewers while digimon at more older viewers, so pokemon would obviously have a larger fanbase. But in terms of story and emotional ideals, digimon wins.
