I think is crapper(?) to see the same guy the same pokemons and the same villians failing all the time, plus: When will be Ash finally a m***********g pokemon master, and the Game Boy games is the same s**t!!This is a no brainer.Pokemon is better.Why? Digimon is crap in all ways.

digimon...they don't repeat themselves( if you''l watch carefully,every ep. in pokemon: rocket team appears with they're stupid song, ash blows them away and makes a new friend. THAT'S BORING!

Not that I hate the people, but I like the Digimon and Pokemon it's self. Either way I pick Digimon cause the new pokemon are getting weirder and weirder. i never really did like digimon...maybe because every monster's name ended with "mon" and it got irritating. So i pick Pokemon

i agree wit yu the first seasons of both digimon and pokemon wear good but the new season man that just went downhill but i vote pokemon their still going and also digimon stopped.the first digimon series was good, the rest was milk...just like the pokemon series, the first series was good, i vote digimon

i think the pokemon series is better then the digimon series but in game wise i think digimon is more fun compared to the pokemon versions

I think both of them are **** but if I had to decide I would prefer Pokemon because the Gameboy-games are really good and their names doens´t end with "-mon"

I don't you guys are comparing too seriously. Some of you guys just gave your perspectives but didn't provide any evidents. Those of you basically just meant "I hate Digimon because I just like Pokemon" and I believe that's just not the way to go.I wanna know why does ending "mon" makes people irritated? I can think of a good side for this, it provides unity for the names. So when you are watching the show you can identify names of digimons straight like: "Ah! that's a digimon" which creates convenience for the audience. On the other hand, pokemon have all these range of strange (well... some are interesting) names that sounded extremely like words rather than names in some cases they are totally meaningless which then creates confusion if you aren't focusing on the program. e.g. you just walked off to get some snacks then when you sit down to continue with the show and all of a sudden an extra character appear from nowhere.On this aspect I think Digimon is more aware of their audience.Then of course there are downsides to the Digimon names as many of you had said, they becomes too repetitive and gets boring and soon people loses interests(maybe). Like I said before, most pokemon words derived names so they can be remembered easily as we already have knowledge of the actual word or meaning, like Butterfree --> butterfly (just a random example) or Meowth --> sound of cat. This not only allowed varieties in names but also interacts/involves with the audience making them think about the names "Oh, so that's what it means" or "So, that's why they called this pokemon this name." etcOn this aspect I think Pokemon is more creative.Obviously you guys don't have to write paragraphs like this but just please don't just shoot out comments for no reason. Ultimately coz this thread's "VS" that means someone gotta win this, if you guys just give off reasons like "I just like pokemon because I hate Digimon" this will last forever without getting anywhere meaningful.

Just wanted to point it up.Digimon Savers (Digimon 5th series) is coming out. Subber episodes are in 40.Anyways.In series - Digimon wins. Why? 'Cause it has a plot. In Pokemon it's all "LALALA LET'S GET SOME TAGS LALALALA"In Digimon there's SOME darkness that is threating the world or w/e.In games - I'd say Digimon also, because I hate Pokemon games.It's so... Lame.
