I like your allusion/analogyAnd you cannot say the Muk is cute...

For bdy & ludipitar you guys must haven't play PS. You guys keep calling how wonderful the pokemon games are. You guys just ignored what others said about the good things about the Digimon World games. As far as discussion is concerned, you guys aren't discussing but just like talking in your own little world ignoring others' comments.im gonna have to say that pokemon is better gamewise, although digimon has better animation even if the games arent that good

I actually thought Digimon's beginning was much more dramatic and attractive than Pokemon's how the kids gets dropped into a "new" world with new living beings and the different sorts of confusions in their minds trying to work out what's happening etc... Whereas Pokemon was just as if "Ash here's my last pokemon, Pikachu. [blah blah blah... explanations / introductory stuff...]. Now that you understood the situation off you go to "catch'em all" and beat all the gym masters". But I would agree that Pokemon have started better because we know what's going on and the development of story was relatively simple for us to watch/understand. But in the first 2-3(max) episodes of Digimon, we probably got just as lost as the characters in the anime; I remember myself walking off for a few minutes to get some snack and I missed the part where they got caught into the digital hole thing(1st seaon... trying to recall memories) then when I continued to watch it again they were in a completely differen environment and I was like "wtf was going on!?Pokemon started to be better, the story seemed to be dragged on for too long and the animation didn't get much betterfor Digimon, they are starting to run out of good names, the animations are better and fancier thoughconclusion: digimon's better now

As long as it's an argument of Pokemon or Digimon any can be talked about. What aspects are we talking about?Anime? I'd have to say Digimon (the first, and some of the second series). I haven't seen the later series (they didn't seem terribly appealing) but the show started out with an actual plot. It had story arcs and new villains which is more than can be said for Pokemon. I can't watch Pokemon now. Not any of the seasons. It makes me cringe.Movies? DIGIMON, DIGIMON, DIGIMON (at least the first four movies.)Video Games? Pokemon. Although I do recall one pretty sweet Digivice tamagatchi I had. Oh, I miss that thing. Too bad it made it's way through the washing machine. :laugh:But for the record I'll admit that third-fifth grade I was primarily obsessed with Pokemon.
