i agree.... pokemon is too repetitive and they dont seem to be moving forward....its more like a cycle, goes round and round again.....Digimon is truly superior. It has a better story line and has cooler characters. Pokemon is pretty dumb. Pikachu should be like level 500 considering how many times it has won.
i agree that the games are cool but the anime is getting boring.....it might b fun to watch it again after a long time but keep watching it straight for a few yrs is really annoying. lol and team rocket never seems to learn anything......For me it's Digimon!!!I mean, I like the Pokemon Games, but not the anime stuff... It's to boring, every episode the same and (mostly) the same characters without changing (oh... Satoshi/ Ash got new clothes pinch.gif)... And nearly every episode Team Rocket wanna steal PikachuDigimon is much better... New seasons with new characters and Digivices... So much Digimon are existing and all this things! It's awesome!! And the Digimon can evoluve in different ways to different Digimon... That's awesome yay.gifD That's why I have watched Digimon fore 7 years ^-^

You are possibly the cockiest, most frank person I've ever met. I love it. Do it again. To stay on topic (which is what you people need to do), Digimon owns Pokemon. Don't believe me? Well you're in for a treat, cos I need to vent, and I feel like typing...a lot.Okay, let's take a look at the first season of Pokemon. Ash is a preteen with the dream of becoming the ultimate pokemon trainer, and catching'em all! Unfortunately he wakes up late to get his first pokemon. But does this prevent the show from moving forward like it should because Ash is a lazy bastard that never learns anything? Of course not! The professor just happens to have a Pikachu! The Pikachu however is very disobedient, which is merely a flavor thing they added to the first episode. So after this episode, what happens? He starts his adventure of course. Now, let's review everything that happens before the first gym leader battle. They visit some indescreet town in which nothing important happens, team rocket goes blasting off again, then they visit another town in which nothing important happens, team rocket goes blasting off again, then they visit yet another town...well, I think you can see where this is going. And if that isn't enough, that's what happens in between gym leader battles. Whoo! What fun!Now let's take a look at Digimon's first season. All of the first digidestined are at a summer camp (and on time I might add). An unexpected event lands them into the digital world in which they meet their digimon partners. Are they wrangling these creatures and forcing them to cockfight? No, this isn't like Pokemon folks. These digimon are their companions. Kinda like soul mates, but nothing sexual. More like a really really good friend in whom you confide. Now, these digimon and the digidestined end up getting attacked by a large bug type digimon. The digimon digivolve to their rookie forms, and attack. The end up on a river floating downstream. Now, what happens in between "boss" battles in this show? Well, the first really major battle is when the digimon digivolved to their champion forms. This was the battle against Etamon. They had to invade a pyramid, in which Sora almost had her body taken, and was almost killed. Tai almost killed himself too, by being an idiot. Izzy got to shine by using his computer skills to infiltrate the base. All in all, it's a successful mission. However Tai ends up back in the real world with Agumon. OMG! Kids, that's what's called a plot twist. Look it up in wikipedia, it's a great site to learn things. You know, learning things. Things that can make you more informed, and more capable of making a valid argument, which is exactly what we're supposed to be doing here.I could go on with the first season of digimon, but all of the points between "boss" battles are very relevant to the plot of the entire story, and so would possibly fill pages. Now let's move onto the second season.Pokemon. Still Ash, who's still immature, and still has a Pikachu as his best companion, which somehow has a one hit kill thunderbolt. But wait, there's more! If you don't remember, Professor Oak said that there were only 150 pokemon in the first season. But what's this? There's an entire new part of the world that's gone undiscovered! Extremely civilized (possibly more so than the first), and full of, oh look, 100 new Pokemon! Wow, that's completely believable, no seriously. *sigh* Anywho, I'm gonna go ahead and break down the plot again. Travel to a pointless town, team rocket goes blasting off again, blah de blah blah blah. Same stuff.Digimon's second season, while not as enjoyable as the first for me, brought it's balls to the table. The pool table. Get your mind out of the gutter. Oh look, they have a new main character! And the original cast has grown up! Now, I didn't mention Kari and her digimon Gatomon (which is actually a champion level digimon, their one mistake), however that particular plot twist of the first season continues on into this season, as Kari and TK are now older, in their teens/preteens. The digital world is being threatened yet again, but this time by a digidestined (which is unknown at the time, but nonetheless surprising. Oh look, yet another interesting thing that Pokemon just can't compete with.) And what else? There is a new way to digivolve! They can now use digieggs to armordigivolve. How cool is that? I must admit, that's the reason I didn't really like the season as much, however some of the armordigivolutions were awesome. Yeah that's right. I said armordigivolutions. Stick that up your vocabulary pipe and smoke it.Once again, I could go on with plot twists, like when Ken Ichijoji finally turns to good, and becomes much weaker because of it, and the digimon can now also digivolve with one another to make a more powerful digimon, just like Omnimon (who was so awesome), but I'll save it. If you're actually still reading this, congratulations. You obviously grew up in the 80's/90's or just happen to like reading. I say the 80's and 90's because I don't expect a 70's child to be on this site, and anyone younger than that has lost the simple entertainment that is the written word.I'm not going to get into games today kids, don't worry. Oh, but I could. I could. TCG's. RPG's. Marbles, figures, playsets, and other such merchandising. It's all quite interesting. But not for today. I've got only one more thing to say...START ACTUALLY POSTING SOMETHING THAT MAKES AN ARGUMENT!!! And for pete's sake, would you learn some grammar! That's all for now kids. Don't make me have to lay down the law again....Brandon...Ok I give up. No sense in telling people not to post like crap since all they do is just post without even reading anything. We need more active Mods that deducts points, because this is a really big forum."Ooooh! I know some cool looking pokemons too! So does that mean you like both?" Grow up people, please.
