pokemon cause it came out 1st and games a loght better

I already stated back when this was a new topic. DIGIMON WERE FIRST. Sorry about that, but digimon had a battle cpu that was like tamogatchi only you would have to battle your friends by linking them up. While they never took off here they were big in Japan and part of Europe. Please read earlier posts before trying to make a claim that others have already proven as false.The t.v. show was more dynamic and creative then pokomon. Digimon has not only one set of evolutions but multiple evolutionary paths for the same digimon. IE: Skull Greymon. If you look at them from a more critical perspective and less of an otaku perspective then it becomes apparent that while I wouldn't want either of them now, when they were at the height of their popularity digimon was a more original and better written tv show.For all of you that are still going to write that pokemon came first please reread the original part of this post.

As I just stated the other day Digimon came first by like 5-7 years with a tomagatchi like item. (predates tomagatchi as well) you could choose between greymon and garurumon they looked 8-bit and were highly pixilated am I the only one that actually remembers the 80's and early 90's *feels old*. I never bought one and I tried to find a screen shot of one but when I searched digivice (even 80's digivice) I just got the new ones. However digimon does predate pokemon so if you are going to vote for pokemon please come up with a better reason then because it came out first because not only is that a bad reason to like something but it is wrong. I mean which would you prefer a labotomy or a neurosurgeon actually doing something that helps. I am not saying that digimon is better because it is older. If you read my earlier posts I liked digimon because not only was each game different but every season has different characters and tells a different story instead of the same one over and over again. Wanted to state that before I get flamed for likeing something because it came out first.
