I actually like city of heros. The missions get a little repetative but with city of villans it has some real potential.

I would have to go with Neverwinter Nights. With all of the custom content available to download the options are nearly limitless.

We're talking about Single-player games here I believe.Since you guys didn't put Septerra Core. I chose KotOR.

The only one I've played are The elder Scrolls and KotorI like Kotor's storyline and combat style but it's far from addicting as the elder scrolls and is a little linear. Morrowind especially has high replay value and has 200+ hours of gameplay...So I voted for the Elder Scrolls series

elder scrolls being able to do just about anything is awesome (the modder thing is great to)

agreed. the spells on there is just utterly vast. my favortive spell on morrowwind III: Elder Scrolls so far wouldhave to be levatate. with that spell, I can air walk right into the sky! very useful for when I get lost exporing and want a bird's eye of the land.

With Oblivion I heard levitating isnt possible anymore. The best spells in Morrowind are the mark/recall spells :]

Go ES! Yay... [/annoying nerd] really, though, the ES series in itself wasn't the greatest, but Oblivion is really the best RPG ever made, so...

TES series... and the mod comunity makes them even better.I've only played Morrowind and Oblivion (still playing Oblivion of course)... and despite the big system requirements is the greatest RPG i've played.

I am appalled at the fact that the excellent Planescape: Torment is not on the list.

Even though the kotor series is more recent, it has earn the respect of rpgers as a great solid storyline filled game. It had good graphics, good gameplay, solid combat, and solid ruleset.

If your talking about single player then Elder scrolls, but WoW for multiplayer.
