I just got this game , and i have to say it is a great add on to the harvest moon series, although the dungeons are somewhat repetitive, it makes playing more enjoyable.

Wtf no way! This is HARVEST MOON? The game where you plant plants, water them, take care of animals, and attend to festivals. An addicting RPG where you act as a farmer is now going to have a battle system? That's just not right.

lol well it needs improvement but the battle system is good, i look forward toplaying the sequel

ehhh it's not that fun =[ well not as fun as the usual harvest moon games. I find it kinda cliche, although the art is quite beautiful in it.

Meh. I'm sorry but you can't have a battle system and Harvest Moon and claim it's great. The battle system is bland and mediocre

It's an amazing, game indeed. I won't go saying the battle system is that good, it's just plain ok(basically, the good ol' Zelda-like "swing your sword/tool and dodge"). But in every other aspect the game is super.I think they've gone in the right direction by putting RPG Elements in HM, oh yes.

yeah i think battle will add some fun to hm, but the hm-ds has shown a bit of it in the mines, where you have to fight chickens and cows and suchthis seems more 3D and the monsters seem more intimidating but i doubt there's a diff

Rune Factory (the english version) has been released since last August. Are you referring to Rune Factory 2?

I heard good things about this and I like harvest moon so i tried it out. it's not that bad of a game. It takes getting use to like in harvest moon but once you figure out it's not too bad.
