I'm one of the best Tekken players in the world, so let me break it down for those who wants to know who's the "best" Tekken character with these top high tier characters:1. King: A character with the biggest movelist in the entire game. He can combo now, so no verteran King player has no excuse to say that they can't win against good people because with the improved air throws, more grabs, and more launchers, and also even attack counters for both kicks and punches, he has moves for literally every situation. This is my favorite character in the whole game, hands down. However, this does not mean that I consider him the best because any character can excel2. Marshall Law: Obviously based off of Bruce Lee's fighting style, he's a very quick and dangerous character that you should use to pick your opponents apart, piece by piece. His Dragon Cannon is one of the most powerful moves in the game, and it's safe on block. Mix and match his quickness, and use his famous fake step move, and lead yourself into victory.3. Nina Williams: I love her as a character because just like King, she has her own special set of muti-grabs and mix ups. Her blonde bomb is safe on block and is one of the most popular moves to use in all the Tekken series. Don't hesitate to use this move to add to a big combo, or punish an opponents opening. Don't just use her regular movelist, practice her grabs as well. Against a strong player, always fake the opponent out if you're using a muti-grab combo. At one point you may purposely not finish the mulit-combo to get your opponent relaxed because they think they just avoided losing. At another point, you can actually finish the mutigrab to fake you opponent into not finishing it to really punish you oppenents laziness. This in my opinion is the key to winning with Nina. Use this same strategy if you're playing with Anna.4. Bryan Fury: A real powerhouse character. He has a few good trips and stuns that you can use to set your oppenent up for failure. Also, use his taunt to trick your oppenents into thinking they can get an open shot, then quickly retaliate with a quick move to set your oppenent up with a possible counter-attack. Use his intimidating tactics, and secure victory.I guess in the end my point is that there is no real "best" Tekken character. If you love any particular character and you learn his or hers movelist and apply them together well in combos, traps, set-ups, and tons of other things, best is what you make it. I personally don't believe there is one best character. Just know your characters well and play lots and lots of highly-skilled oppenents, and learn to build your strengths past what you think is your best. If you do this, you can be good with ANY character. Yes, this includes even Panda, because I've beaten some highly skilled players with this low tier character. I believe a good character lies solely in one's understanding of the character's fighting style and the understanding the skills it takes to succeed in Tekken.

I always used Xiaoyu, and I always won....She's not really the strongest but I love her moves...I also like Asuka and Julia, well I used practically only women, except for Hwoarang, who wasn't that bad either.....

My favorite to play with is Paul...he may not be the best but ive beaten all the games i have with him, so it doesnt really matter to me.

Kazuya is the best. He's the real devil. Jin is just namco's next generation Kazuya because he's much younger. I big mistake of Namco to make Kazuya not the main character anymore. It's a shame.

Christie Montiero is invincible in the hands of someone who knows how to play her. This isn't opinion, this is fact. She can steamroll anyone else in 4 or 5 easily.

ive seen a lot of players good with King's fighting style, one grab is all it takes and expect a serious punishment afterwards... but i think it eventually falls down to the actual player's skill, regardless of how many cheap moves the opposing character has in store... i prefer xiayou or lei, they are fast, have some decent damage and some nifty combos and starters
