OK ive been looking at some games for the DS now and I have notice that not many games uses the DS capabilities to its fullest. Most games has players focus soly on one screen and come on face it if your looking just at one screen the PSP is the better choice. But you might argue about the Touch screen... Yea its great I love it myself but some games dont do much with it.OK just hear me out on a game idea...an RPG game thats a mixture of RT action and RTS with the Kingdom hearts fighting style a bit.The bottom screen would have icons that represent powers you could use on the fly along with stats of the character while the Top screen would be the game main focal point. You get into a battle and you would fight like they do in Onimusha with those kind of controlls and the bottome screen you use the TS and activate powers on the Fly.sure my idea is not very simple and you might get lost but come on give me something good.

Most games don't really take advantage of the system's capabilities. I'd have to throw in another vote for WarioWare, but Trauma Center is pretty sweet too, even though it doesn't use the mic.

Honestly you're not going to find anything that uses the capabilities of the hardware to the fullest this soon after launch. That's just how it is. It's very hard to make use of two screens at the same time, even more so if you're having to use the normal buttons and D-pad as well as the touch pad at the same time. The skill of the game becomes more about multi-tasking rather than enjoying the game. There's games that make good use of the touch screen, but nothing that really uses it to the fullist possiblities. I say give it time and something will pop up that'll blow you away. A game I think is a good example is 'PW: Ace Attorney' it uses the touch screen for interaction and managing evidance. Hardly pushing the limits of the technology, but it's atleast a good step in the right direction.edit: balmung123 I totally agree that'd be awesome. Something that'd really be pushing the limits of the technology would be a Bushido Blade type game where your sword strokes were done by the motions input on the touch pad. That would lead to some AMAZING sword fights I think. How exactly that'd work beats me, but then again I'm not payed to make DS games so I'm not going to rack my brain on that one till Nintendo or some other company offers me a dev job. ^-^

I think a game that's used the touch screen a lot is WarioWare, but I think the top screen of WarioWare could be used more. I think the same thing for Animal Crossing, the touch screen is important, but the top screen is ignored, save for very few things.

M&L 2 makes good use of the dual screens, but it uses no touch screen capabilites at all.Mario Kart DS also has good dual screen usage, but you can only use the touch screen (to touch) on the menus.Super Mario 64 DS probably has the best touch screen capabilities used that I've played. And the Rec Room is so much fun! Overall, not really any game probably uses the full capabilities of the DS.EDIT: My bad on the M&L 2 not using any touch screen. There's one part (I don't want to give spoliers) that you have to rub dirt off paper with the stylus. That's probably the only time, though, so it still doesn't really use the touch screen much.

I think that games like Super Mario are good, because if you're good with the touch screen, you can use it, and if you're good with the buttons, you can use them, too. But I especially like the way Animal Crossing did that, you can switch on the fly, like, not even on the fly, and the DS has provided the best keyboard I've found in a game (apart from games that have a seperate keyboard).

Gonna have to go with Wario Ware: Touched. It seems to take advantage of all the features of the DS and it's a really fun game too!
