Hey, Any one knows how to get the WiFi on the psp going? I have a D-Link firewall router, and I don't want to reset my router. The normal connection setup doesn't work, so what do I do?

Do you have the PSP switch on on the PSP? Did you try the 'network search' in the options menu?

first of all you neeed to have a wireless router, not just an ordinary router.you need to know the name of your router's connection what type of security your router has (IF it has one), you need to know the password.now turn on your psp, go to Settings, Network Settings, choose Infrastructure Mode, select New Connection, type in the name of the connection (can be changed later on), choose Scan, select your routers signal (this is where you should know the name of your router's connection), choose you the WLAN Setting (the type of password and the password), in the address settings choose Easy (you can costumized it if you know your IP Address, DNS, etc...) review your connection, then Save.now you have a WiFi connection.

well it is free if you are Stealing a wireless signal or you are at work or school that provides students with log in names and so forth but if you are speaking from home then it really isnt free because you have to already have an exisiting internet connection which you should know isnt exactly Free... and on top of that you will need a wireless router.

Has anyone come up with a program that sniffs for the WEP/WPA-PSK code yet? Or better yet bypass it?

*sigh* my neighbor used to have a unprotected network.... till they smartened up and added WEP protection.Well signal strength doesn't really tell how far you are from the router but it does tell how strong your connection is. The better the signal, the faster the speed and the lower the lag.Ahh I dream of the day when Wi-Max becomes common (if it ever catches on). It'll solve alot of my problems. Also note to potential idiots: Using bandwidth on a unprotected network is one thing, but hacking into a protected one is very very different. It's a serious crime so don't do it (unless you're just stupid like that).
