Yeah, but that's illegal. you could get a router at Target, walmart, etc. Mcdonalds has a wi-fi hotspot, in the US.

It matters where you are and if you have any neighbors with WiFi1. If you have a neighbor with unsecured WiFi, just connect to it, if it's secured, ask your neighbor for permission, he/she should then ask for your PSP to input their code2. If you live close to a McDonald's or other location with WiFi, just connect there, probably the easiest thing to do3. If you don't have a neighbor with WiFi and you can't go to a restaraunt like McDonald's, Panera Bread, or Starbucks...A. First you need a service provider that supports broadband internet access, that can be a cable provider like Time Warner or Comcast (Road Runner or similar), a satillite provider like Direcway, or a phone company like AT&T, MCI, or SBC, they should give you a modem that should connect to their main service (for example DSL runs over a phone line just like the phones, and cable internet runs over coaxial cable just like set top boxes or televisions)B. Second you need a wireless router, the router should come with an ethernet cable, take the ethernet cable included and connect the modem to the WAN port on the router, if your modem came with an ethernet cable just plug that cable into the router, then take the cable included with the router and connect that between the router and the computer (it dosen't matter which etherent cable you connect where as long as the connections are made), then set up the router accordingly by logging in using it's IP, then search for it using your PSP, save the connection and give it a name, then you should be able to use your PSP wirelesslyYou can also use a computer with a wireless card in ad-hoc mode, but it's pretty hard to do

whelp. if one gets a PSP and starts the online batalia .. here's some tips. First go to HotSpots, where the online settings are user friendly, if you want wi-fi in your house, at all times, get a friend who knows how to set up a router, and administer your connection. If you try by yourself, you should chcek help forums for setting a device like the wi-fi Max, terrible thing , but after its set properly, it works , no exceptions. Regards
