Well i say Kuja , because.. well there wasn't an option for Necron. And Necron kicks donkey, cause you're so not expecting him.. and he freakin' freaked me out, infact it's the only boss i ever had a hard time with as a normal boss (i might have sucked at ff 9 i have no clue) But ehm, Necron is definitly my favorite boss.. BOSS. Okay? =D

As in the coolest, or most painstakingly to beat? As for coolest, I'd say Sephiroth, and most painstakingly to beat..... also Sephiroth, took me all nigh and part of a day to beat him and his 3(?) forms.

Didn't Kefka admit to WANTING to be evil or something? (It's been a while) It's pretty lame in that case. I think Sephy is the best, he doesn't care about anything, shows no pity, and doesn't hesitate to kill.

it's the only game I played, FF7. I dun think it's very well done. He's a little too weak to post a threat to your party. Knight of the round=1 hit kill.

dudeSephroith was a great character. He had real presence in every scene and he was a very highly dimensional character. And as far as the final boss fight, knights of the round was not a one hit kill. Not even if you did nights of the round and mime. He wasn't super challenging but it was a boss fight I highly enjoyed. The one winged angel song that played when you fought him was also very good. The most challenging last boss was FF8. But Sephroith is probably considered the best foil in any videogame period.

For me it was Seymour, cause Sephirot was really easy, even more if you used ultimate weapons and omni attack

*********************SPOILER**********************How can you possibly argue against Kefka. All of these FF villians want to takeover/destroy the world...but Kefka actually did it! He wiped out half of the planet and continued to rule using that giant laser thing. He had a great sense of humor, was a powerful guy, and psycho as hell.*********************END SPOILER**********************

For me the best boss battle was FFVIII Sorceress Ultimecia. The battle was quite long and had soo many great special effects. :)

my vote goes out to the socceress, not only can she not be killed with one hit, she has multiple stages and the power to knock out your magic stores, major pain the first time i fought her

I don't think Odin 'died'. He was just beaten. Odin can't really die. Also, what I really like about that part is 'cause after odin is gone, Gilgamesh appears. I looove Gilgamesh. :P

I'd have to go with the Sorceress as well. I didn't know that she switched junctions on you, and it seriously screwed up half my characters. I only had three of them junctioned but I still managed to pull out a win.On a side note about Gilgamesh, he bites, I liked Odin better. One time I was fighting Adel (the one where you can't hit Rinoa and all) and he decided to "randomly" come and aim his attack straight at Rinoa. At least Odin wouldn't have killed her like stupid Gilgamesh had to do halfway into the fight.

I've always been fond of Zeromus, the fact that he was the first one that I ever fought probably had a lot to do with it as well. Of the choices though I would pick Kefka. He had countless great lines, an interesting design, and as has been pointed out he's gotten further in his plans than virtually any other villain in the series.
