Sephiroth, i mean once you leveled up he wasnt challengeing but he looked cool, had some awsome moves, and had a great chior to back him up.

I was always a fan of Sephiroth. I don't know, maybe it was because my cousins and I basically grew up on that game.

Simply put, although Sephiroth is truelly evil, crazy, powerful, est est... However this question can be answered with one simply quote from the web comic RPGworld"A true villain kills with style"Simply put, Kefka, through his stand off-ishness, his personal flair, his pure, 'killer style' if you will, is the perfect Final Fantasy Villain and could likly own Sephiroth any day of the week simply buy using his kick donkey laugh.

come on guys Sephirot is only easy because u guys read the guides to get that VERY well hidden KoR that also needs a VERY hard to get without a FAQ golden Chocobo and also get thos mime and final attack materias that i've never hadif u played the game without a guide in the first time (like me) not just him but many bosses would be a pain in the donkey to take down , i discovered that guides obliterate the chalenge in any RPG game in FF6...today i only read one on the second gameplay and if u guys want challenge instead of an history book please dont use gamefaqs guides!!!!

Most Definitely Sephiroth. As he's cool only regret is in his final form just about any attack will kill him.

i liked the kuja battle, because of the enviroment and the settings, it was cool, but i also love the sephirot battle where you automatically do the Omnislash, because i didn't get it the first time and the very last battle shows it to you, even if you don't collect it

Sephiroth was really cool, so many scenes like the destruction at Nibelheim made him show that he ain't a force to b reconkoned with

Kefka was the only truly nuts villain. Everyone else had an issue, but Kefka had his mind alter when he became a magitech knight. Don't know if that make him the "best" villain, but it certainly puts him at the top of my list.

Seph is the best out of the choices but if you would have put SIN it would have been the biggest and baddest of them all.
