Sin was a definitive foe, you knew that destruction was the nature of the beast and the threat it posed to the world.Sepiroth, was more of a WTF kind of murderer/Hitler with superpowers. Unfortunately the information behind his motives are kinda convoluted, so I really can't vote him as the best.Kefka was a very good nemisis. Even though he was your typical power-hungry psycho, I found the delievery to be quite appealing B) .I'm not going to delve into any deep insight behind this, but overall each villian had their pro's and cons. I found sin and the story behind it at a greater level than other villians, but not enough for me to pick a favorite.OFF-TOPIC:I can't say who was the best villian, but I sure as hell know who was the worst: EX-Death. ("Galuf. I've returned! Fwahahahaha." - You've been couped up for several millennia and thats best one-liner you can come up with? 
)

A Hitler with superpowers?You got that wrong. Hitler is more like kill anyone like this but sephiroth's intentions are even more wicked; he wanted to risk all lives just so he could control the planet from within. If he had succeeded the world would become even worst than what kefka did to his own. Someone noticed that Sephiroth and Garland's intentions were almost the same?They both wanted to control the so called cycle of souls but for different reasons.Anyway ill vote for sephiroth cause he doesn't wear a dress like kefka and doesn't laugh pathetically.

I must agree with think Jecht was way too easy to be a final boss, even though his character is cool, so im gona say Sephiroth

well if ur asking like who is the coolest then i have to say Seperoth cause Sin looks like a big whale. But if ur asking the who is the hardest then i say Sin. But then again when i beat sin my chars were lvl 99....

Technically he kept an entire dimension in fear but Sephiroth is still the best FF villain because of how impossibly hard he was to beat.Sin, Because he's huge and like keeps a entire planet in fear, Sephiroth didn't even do that

Did you play the game? He nearly destroyed the planet with meteor!!!Plus it was pretty much Sephiroth that was the catalyst to the weapons breaking loose. If that's not putting the fear into an entire planet I don't know what is.As you've probably guessed, I'm voting for Sephiroth because he was a total badass that you really feared (plus that bastard killed Aeris :GRR: )Sin, Because he's huge and like keeps a entire planet in fear, Sephiroth didn't even do that

Well i dont know about all of you but i think that the final boss of FF8 was my favourite villain, just look at the facts.... This socceress was able to control the past through the future, now I dont know about you but i think that pretty amazing considering all the other villains. Plus she shaped FF8 for what it was, if i was for her the characters would have a story line without that specific final bossSeifer was gonna be my pick but he turned out to be a lapdog instead of a dangerous foe

I get what you mean because if you kill a boss thats it, gone, finished yet he constantly has the strength to make sum new form and try and destroySephiroth is really cool, but i never played FF7 for over an hour. So Seymour. what kind of villian comes back 4 times?
If there gonna make a new for of a boss, you should be allowed to hit his HP so low that he gives up then runs off that makes sense at least you know you can prepare for the next encounter rather than guessing if you will see him again or not
