well, if you really wanted to say he changed, he went from the blue bomber to maverick hunter to net navi, X wasn't his first form.

Personally, I think Zero is the best. But if we are talking standard Megamans, X would be the best. I'm still wishing for an incarnation of him or Zero in a BN game.Wait, have Bass/Forte or Rush even been in any of the Battle Networks?

I think they have Zero in MegaMan Network Transmission (sidescrolling 3D game)for Gamecubehe's like the ultimate virus or something...Bass is in the battle networks

i like all of the games, all are great, but if i'd be stranded on a deserted island with infinity batery's , an endless suply of gba's and endless cartridges of 1 megaman game i'd pick a battle network game..... man if id ever get of the island then i'd be the best mmbn player....

Its not the same megaman tho, X, exe, and megaman have different storylines, and possible are different themselves... But i think Zero is just the blond version of Bass... They just wanted him to be a little less hardcore and a lot more red... and anybody notice that the cyber K-9 on megaman X is similiar to treble? My favorite is the X series (the side scrolling) its the pinnacle of all that is megaman... I hate/dont like, battle network... It doesnt have the megaman feel.. None of the hardcore intensity...

I think Megaman made a bad decision like Castlevania to go from 2D to 3D.
