the battle network enemies suck, but BN 1 and 2 were ok... the megaman Zero series is alot better... i still wonder how they came up with megaman's "real identity"... <--- i'll just say that for people who read this and haven't played the game before

He sure has. I like the Netnavi one though since nowadays, internet is everything (and power), as the MMBN shows/games intend to show in my opinion.

I'm also a big fan of the Maverick Hunter Megaman (X). It's the best one of all Mega-men, despite X, the original Blue Bomber and the NetNavi Megaman are far too better than the one in Megaman Legends

I found Battle Network interesting at first, but know capcom just keeps making them, with little variety, so I gave up on them.

All these new megaman series are Horrible. They should revive the old megaman series. I know about the zero thing in power battles but they could make it more clear. MMBN is very Boring its like a damn pokemon game.... Megaman X is awsome. Megaman zero is alright. Maybe its just me Or all these new megaman games make me want to play the Megaman colection on my X-box.But my X box is broken....If you overuseone Franchise than it will soon or later die.

I completley agree with you! Battle network sucks! Original is definatley the best. I'm obsessed with Megaman. <3 I love X and Zero and I can't wait to get ZX. It looks so cool! ANd Legends.... just NO.

I agree with Kuchiki Byakura. It will be like playing the same game but with new features or characters. And I like Battle Network, but that's my opinion. And pokemon has started to make different games so people would start playing them again. For example; Mystery Dungeon, Dash, and Pokemon Ranger.

Megaman X story line end and went into Megaman Zero. MMZ ended and went to the ZX, combining Z and X together =). MMBN is a completely different story line from the original. ZX features some of the old places from X like the first starting area (Area F i think, might be wrong). Megaman Legends was fun too, but that is off the main story line also.

Too much of a good thing can be bad for you.I think people are deluding themselves when they say that the original series was the -best-. After the fourth and fifth games it was clear that Capcom was just milking the series. Cloud Man? Flame Man and Blizzard Man?? Plant Man??? It sounded like they were getting character design ideas from second graders. How many times do I have to fight Dr. Wily before he goes to jail and STAYS THERE? I mean comon, even X managed to 'kill' Sigma in his first game.Sooner or later people would've (and did) wise up to Capcom's milking efforts back then (remember the Street Fighter 2 milkage?) The shorter lengths of the X series and Zero series shows that Capcom and Mega Man have matured.

the worst thing for a game series is to stick to the same things. If it doesn't adapt it will stagnate and die off. Variety is the spice of life and although the originals are much better. I kinda like how the current MM games give more of a story line than say the nes versions. Don't get me wrong the originals had one and they were fun but not much dialog, or story progression. you went to a level killed the boss, and then picked a new boss to kill. If you had say some dialog in between or choices that changed progress depending on what you chose would make them better in my opinion. I love the classics yes, but change is neccessary and although the series isn't going in the direction you like it needs to progress otherwise it will cease to exist. they have done a metroid FPS, so now that I think about it a MegaMan FPS could be done and work, i think THAT would be interesting.

What is wrong with the Battle Network series?I happen to think it was a VERY stable series and might I add that it is the ONLY Megaman series to officially end. (6 was too much but at least they ended it) Unfortunatly Capcom is a bit stupid on the whole "let's use the same idea" crap. V_VThey plan to make a spin-off called Star Force or something like that...I really liked the Battle Network series up to #2 & 3. The old Megamans were good up to like Megaman 2 or 3 as well, but as soon as they got past 4 it was getting ridiculous with all the bosses. The Megaman Zero series is good as well, but seems to have went the same path as all Megaman games up to this point. (Do well with 1 or 2 and start making 3, 4, and so on ,and it gets ridiculous.)And to stay on topic of the thread...1. They have made collections of both the original & X series that are available for $20 to $30 for the consoles. Also heard there was supposed to be a collection on the GBA consisting of Megaman 1-5 but not sure about that. The PSP has Megaman X: Maverick Hunter (remake of X with cutscense and such) and Megaman: Powered Up (crazy remake of original megamans). Japan got Megaman Legends 1 & 2 redone on the PSP as well.2. Get with the times people. The old Megaman games don't cut it compared to X or Zero series.3. I happen to like an actual storyline in my games compared to the "original" series which had a few text and opening scene if you happened to not hit any buttons when you turned the NES on.4. I happened to LOVE Megaman Legends and is my favorite series of all of them. =P
