I love all the Megaman series, and I personally think that the Battle Network series is the best (and most fun). The Zero series is very nice as well. I have one X game (Megaman X 8 for PC), and it's very fun as well. My friend has the first Legends, and although it's a bit hard to get hold of the controls at first, it's very fun as well.

All these new megaman series are Horrible. They should revive the old megaman series. I know about the zero thing in power battles but they could make it more clear. MMBN is very Boring its like a damn pokemon game.... Megaman X is awsome. Megaman zero is alright. Maybe its just me Or all these new megaman games make me want to play the Megaman colection on my X-box.But my X box is broken....If you overuseone Franchise than it will soon or later die.

megaman is great

well they finished off the megaman netnavi series on the gba with 6, so the new ds version of megaman starring a girl is pretty nice, first female megaman man girl unless you count roll.

I didnt like where megaman turned off with the battlenetwork series. But I suppose its nice that they are innovating newer gameplay systems. My favorite series will always be the X series. Platforming was so much more fun and prettier. The old Nes games were extremely difficult. I dont think I've ever beaten a single boss.

well, if as an obsessed megaman fanatic, its ok to have a new storylines or timelines..and the goodness of a game depends on the genre of the game you like....for instance, megaman BN is played by lots of gamers in its time. the old sereis is also cute, but i think we shouldn't call these new ones horrible dude.

yeah i loved the classics, but what i love even more, is that the games evolved into something bigger. okay i dont play MMBN, because thats not my type of game, but i DO like the changes they made, just because it means theyre putting some effort into it. the MM universe expands and thats what i like.sure some MM games suck donkey, but hey, how many mario games are there?? 200? and they aint all great, but every once in a while mario gets a new game that rocks, and so will megaman.-end of rant-

You are right! I love his old suit! All change make a new character who is not familiar with the Megaman! Blue suit is always the best choice for Megaman and red ones is for Zero!

I'd buy an original style throwback Mega Man in an instant. Haven't really cared for anything new to the series in years.

I prefer Battle Network but I still dunno why you choose Megaman Zero when all my friends are up for MMBN!

I think megaman and bass for snes was one of the best megamans other than the orginals which started it all. The net battles are pretty fun but using chips and executing is'nt as much fun as old school side scrolling. Megaman X series was pretty good too though. The 3-d version on ps1/ps2 i did not agree with. It ruined megaman's image.

Actually, BN ocurrs on a sort of alternate universe (I think marvel's gonna sue somebody)... all the rest is kind of correct, but for one detail: MML is a lot later than X, as the Zero and XZ sagas are in between....

Let's review, now in easy-to-read chart form!Beginning -- Megaman ---- Megaman X ---- Megaman Z ---- Megaman ZX -------------- Megaman Legends|||||Megaman Battle Network --- Megaman Star ForceThe main reason for the change in styles is because, when MM1 was made, Robotics were seen as the future. Well, we don't have personal robots yet, so they made a tangent universe where Light created the internet. And then, yadda yadda yadda, play the games, time moves on.And that's about where we are now. Questions?Oh, yes, and for the record, I like the original games batter. Sure the others have better graphics, but getting past the block puzzles in Ice Man's stage still feels like an achievement.
