I do prefer games like Tales of Phantasia over Fire Emblem, but I like both.

Both RPG and stategy games are fun to me since they are time consuming and addictive.

i like playing a good balance of them. personally i lean more to rpgs but playing too many makes them too tedious, so i like switching it up with strategy once in a while to keep the gamer spirit alive.

RPGs have gotten way too stale by and large the past few years, so I've gotten more into strategy titles, since with nearly every game I play, I find something new. Strategies tend to have a bit more replay value as well, since you can try different ways of completing a task/mission, though in terms of storyline they tend to be a bit more rigid and linear than your average RPG.

i like both RPG and STY. i prefer rpgs to strategy games though. and wait, strategy rpgs? is that something along the lines of disgaea?

I love rpgs if the story line is good but strategy games are fun to play too. sometimes strategy games get boring so i have to say i like rpgs better.

I prefer RPG too. I have no patience to play strategy. Summarizing, to make lots of units and send them to a quick death. Once more.

I like the mix of both, in games like disgaea. If I had to choose, I'd stick to RPGs.

Well, gee, I don't know. I was under the impression that RPGs WERE strategy games... huh. Guess I've been living a lie for the longest time.I happen to like RPGs like Pokemon because you need to use strategy to win-- especially against another player who happens to be good at the game.

If you have RPGs, add a RPGto your response. If you like Strategy, add a STY to your response. RPG's for me. But action RPG's tho like Zelda, Terranigma, Secret Of Mana etc. Never was a fan of turn based. I hate Final Fantasy...

Hmmm, I like both,I can really get into a good RPG like Oblivion or Fable, But If I want to actually play a game Im GOOD at Ill go for the Age of Empires series or C&C or Warcraft. strategy games are all good.

Both are my types of games, but if i had to chose betweeen 2 games id chose the RPG one. Its my preferance. but......

I love RPG's they are my absolute favorite. Final Fantasy series is really good like A2 and FF 9. But I cant say that I hate strategy games they just dont make my top tier list lol.
