Not true. The dub of Cromartie High School is much better than the subtitles--they do the voices very well and the jokes translate better when you're hearing them instead of reading them. My least favorite dub I've heard though is probably Azumanga Daioh or Excel Saga. Excel is irritating in English OR Japanese, though, and everyone else isn't too offensive to me.

I saw "Eureka Seven" last night and the voice acting there was pretty damn horrible. I love the dubbing work in GitS: Stand Alone Complex. My favorite anime series on tv at the moment. FLCL's voice work was well done as well.

id have to go with crowd on this there is no real good dubbed animeas far as the most tollerable id go either wolfs rain or bastard!

Full Metal Alchemist is the worst dub of all, next worst would prob have to be samurai champloo, and for th e jap chars speaking english, its not ment to be that way, its ment to be that your understanding what they are saying and your brain (or lack of) is translating it for you

Pretty much the only anime which I prefer the dubbed version of is Cowboy Bebop. Other than that, almost every single dub is inferior to the Japanese version (though some dubs are semi-decent if you havent heard the Japanese). As for the worst one, it is hard to say as with each new horror the previous ones are wiped out of my mind. I can say for certain that One Piece made me cry and my ears bleed the first time I heard it in english.

cant really think of a good english dub, probably there isnt any, but the wrost is naruto. already being a horrible anime the dub was horrendous making me unable to watch even a second of a sorry exscuse of an anime

Best: I haven't seen an anime that has good dubbing yet...Worst: Sailor Moon, CCS...basically any dubbed anime that I've had the misfortune to see. (Thank goodness I discovered the wonder that is subtitles!)
