Hopefully I didn't miss any good ones, but these are the ones that came to mind off the top of my head.My vote goes to Tidus and Yuna. Probably the most mature love story, with two very deep characters going through alot of emotional turmoil.

Out of your list, I'd say the strongest is the Squall and Rinoa story. The peak of emotion hits when Rinoa is unconscience and Squall tries to carry her to where she can be cured. Talk about strong love. Another occurance would be on the Ragnarok where Rinoa just doesn't want to get up from Squall's lap.Now, the ALL TIME strongest love story IMO was between Fei and Elly in Xenogears. If your susceptable to this kind of thing, I suggest watching the scene where Fei visits Elly's home. You'll know what I mean.

Remember, Squall isn't used to sharing his emotions and when Rinoa was in the coma, he let it all out i guess.Hmm.. I'll say FFX had the best love story and FFX-2 was a great conclusion toward it

Tidus and Yuna's story was most cute for me.
i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.

Well, honestly, although I love how each character fits into each game, and they serve their literary purposes well (as fantasy characters are exactly that, fantasy characters, and thus are not as well-rounded as they might be), very few RPG characters have more than one or two dimensions. The ones who are really closer to being complete are Nanaki, Vincent, Rinoa, Squall, Celes, Vivi, Shadow, Cecil, Glenn (CT not CC), Arche, and Kid. Thus, the only truly realistic love story is Squall and Rinoa. Seriously, people, Yuna only had one aspect to her personality.
Please do not mention Dragon "Warrior" or any Final Fantasy II or III for the SNES in my presence. And keep in mind the following chart(this is likeness of looks, not personality):
Tidus -- Cloud
Wakka -- Zell
Lulu -- Edea
Yuna -- a horrible sorry attempt at an Aeris/Terra thing, with a touch of Garnet.
Auron -- Vincent
Rikku -- Yuffie/Selphie
Kimahri -- a very un-sexy Nanaki

tidus and yuna is the best mostly because in ffx they didn't end up together. it would be sadder if they didnt make a ffx-2 to end the story on a happy note.

Seemed to me that FFVIII was a love story between Squall and Rinoa, and the the story with Laguna as well. I never actually beat FFX so I can't really say if it was a love story or not.
