i would have to say Squall and Rinoa from final fantasy 8 have the best love story. It just seems to develop so well throughout the game.Although out of the final fantasy's Cloud and Aeris probably have the best love story, not the happiest ending but hey while it lasted it was good.

You missed the two important love stories =Link + Zelda I can't seem to remember the other one but i think it is in Final fantasy 7 with Cloud.Anyhow i would have to say Squall and Rinoa from 8.

I love the (canon) pairings GwendolynxOswald and IngwayxMercedes from Odin Sphere, the HeroinexElazul (non-canon) from Legend of Mana and TifaxCloud from FFVII

I would definatly have to say Tidus and Yuna. I've played a lot of rpgs in my life but their story was probably the most intresting to me. I was so attached that it made me play more just so I can see what was gonna happen between them two.

I would say Dragon Quest 8's story between Hero and Princess Madea... but I like FFX Yuna and Tidus better. ;o

I had to go with the Final Fantasy X love story because if you are fateful and continued to play FFX-2 and got 100% completion, Tidus comes back and takes Yuna to the farplane with him. So magical.

hey isn't possible that Tidus could have feelings for Rikku also? Sure YunaxTidus is good but don't tidus show act like yet around all the girl.I mean if Rikku or Lulu were to be sad or cried would he feel compasionate for them?AH! don't hate me for being honest with you guys.

well Ar Tonelico love story seemed so generic, nothing really that special about them....from the poll....Id choose Garnet/Zidane or Squall/Rinoa....I personally though Xenogears, Fei/Elly was pretty good....though I've just replayed it recently....haven't really seen too many good love RPGs
