what do you think is the most popular?, im guessing from the widespread downloading of the super nintendo games, and the fact a used super nintendo has a higher price than the 64 ps1 and x-box at some used game stores the snes is the most popular game system to date

well i like the GameBoy edition the most, I just play the most with them. And i think that games for them are great and often even better then the one's for N64

I really do prefer the ps2 even though I have many other consoles I believe the PS2 is the best and most popular of all the Concsoles

Sega Saturn, Master System, Game Gear, Neo Geo, GBA SP, GameBoy Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket, N-GAGE, etc. You forgot too many to count, including pre-Atari, which was better than "the age of Atari".
Someone, make something better.

It's a tough choice, but the Super Nintendo truly stands out, as it was just a well-rounded system.

I think the most popular is the PS2..the most downloaded games are probably snes..they most accessible and the games are great.

I'd have to fully agree with you hnsolo77 about the SNES. I'm an RPG fan and SNES is the only system where I have played every popular english RPGs plus much more. Unfortunately its game library is finite so I've practically run out of the fresh untried kind and so I'm moving to GBA and PSX instead. However, nothing will outdue the classicness of SNES (for me I mean).

Its such a hard decision between all of the amazing revolutionary gaming consoles that have all been released within the last 10 years!I mean the most recent consoles are obvious a testament to technology at its absolute best. But what one cannot forget is that before these great consoles are the roots of Atari and the NES which are classic gaming at its best.

personally i like ps2 the best but i think gb,gbc,gba..etc because its more widespread between ages and theres more to choose from.

I have to go with PS2. There's tons of games for all genres on that system. GBA would probably be in second place. SNES-style graphics in the palm of your hand. Very nice. X-box... no, it doesn't. It seems to be more of an FPS and Sim system than anything, so whatever systems come after GBA I'd have to put it in last-place in the Next-Gen console ranking.

i choose the gameboy selection since it is good when i was first playing it when i was young and it is still good to this very day and alot of people still play it and have it too

I think the SNES is the most played and/or downloaded console ever.
i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.

I would have to say the Ps2 for me, heck it is the first machine I bought for myself, and a lot of the games are loveable. But We all still have to wait and see with the Gamecube Revolution, and the PS3 to come out, because the 360 is already out, and I've only played one for 5 minutes and the games for it so far I see have pounded some games into the ground.
