If they could manage the many other N64 games, then surely smash bros. won't be of any difficulties...But perhaps not so much as a port-off from N64 but another all on its own is more than possible... But I bet they're waiting for everyone to get more hyped up about the smash bros. on revolution first before another one pops up on the DS.

It could work easy, if i can play SSB using emulator with keyboard then surely its playable on a DS.controls could be as follows: B - quick hit, pick up itemB while Dpad direction - strong hitsB + Dpad direction simulataneous - smash attacksY/Y + Dpad - special attacksDown - duckUp/A - JumpX - Throw, throw itemL/R- blockL/R + Dpad - dodge/rollgraphics would be slightly better than SSB 64it would have 4 player WiFi and Local multiplayer, and downloadable content (levels characters trophies maybe)did i miss anything

it is possible but rather then adding gimicky touchscreen and dual screen features that smash brothers doesn't need, i'd rather see it on the next gba

It would be very cool. A possible function could be that you use the touch screen to move around, press up on the D-pad to jump, and L could be an attack. I guess maybe tapping the touch screen could be another attack (since using the stylus and hitting the R button is a challenge).

SSBs would pretty sweet i think that theyd use both screens which would be pretty crappy considering that it would have a huge line missing in the middle but other than that itd be fine ;)

Not really thay could use the top screen for the fight and the bottem screen for percentiges

Or other way around. Or you could choose (I'd like that). They could have one screen be the action, and the other be a layout of the arena with the player's symbol, lives, and damage pecent.

it would be sweet, but how will u use the touch screen? i mean, there are enough buttons, but if there is a touch screen function, wouldnt it be hard to use the stylus AND use all the buttons? or do u use your thumbs......... gotta buy a screen protector.....

This game would pwn. There are enough buttons on the DS for the game to work remember the N64 only used 3 buttons and a control stick("A", "B", "L/R/Z"). Everything else on the Gamecube was totally useless(DAMN N00BS!) The touch screen could be a mini-map with the percentages all in 2D. With the top screen only showing your character in 3D. If Nintendo released this game with the Revolution one and connected them so many ppl would buy it. Imagine you're playing SSB at home, but you have to go somewhere. Then you bust out the DS and continue on your way. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO NINTENDO!!!!
