A super smash bros for DS would make my life. I'm already in love with the other two. especially if it have wifi tech. so you could play other people all over the world.

You would think that SSB for DS would be a no-brainer for Nintendo. You would think that they would have said something by now as far as plans to make one go.History wise, we have seen one SSB game per major console since the N64. If they do release it, it wouldn't really make sense for them to do so until next year in the holidays at the earliest. Such a popular game would make a great selling point for the system and the timing wouldn't detract from the Wii as much as an earlier launch. If a DS version will be released, We should be hearing about it soon. Maybe something will come up while the Wii version is being discussed.

I would buy that game the day it is released, so if NEone out there works Hal Laboratories then pay attention and make a SSB for the DS, it will sell out!!

If Smash Bros moved to DS and was suitably playable (due to the lack of buttons and consequent use of the touch screen) then i would possibly buy a DS just for that reason 
at the moment though i am a bit skeptical but i do love my smash bros.

SSB for DS would be awesome, along with 4 player multi-cart, single-cart and Wi-Fi of course. It'd be pretty interesting on seeing how they would incorporate the Stylus and Touch Screen!

I actually doubt that Nintendo will release this on DS...If they were going to, the game would be out by now. Of course it would be interesting to see it released.

I just wish we could get some new characters that aren't as bad as SSBMI've heard info from some of my friends that there'll be a SSBDS version. and as my friends and I always organize NGC parties which always contain at least one cube for ssbm, I'd like to know if some of you have heard anything about a possible SSBDS.TIA, tha cloudbolt

Actually in an interview a guy said that the game may be made but for the moment they are not working on it. I trust that Nintendo will make an AWESOME ssbDS game. It will be fun with the stylus as well without it. It will be an awesome game with wi-fi connection.The graphics will be better than the n64. it will be like a mini GCN. Maybe they add some FF characters or something like that. It may have also a wireless connection with SSBB for Wii. That WOULD be awesome!

I could see Nintendo making this, but I'm not sure I'd buy it if they did. I think it'd just be a waste of the DS touchscreen functionality. I don't really see a way for the touchscreen to be used in a creative, or even plausible way with the game. I guess it might be a fun game to have on a portable, but not for the DS. Now, one game I'd love to see transfered from the N64 to the DS would be Jet Force Gemini. GOD that was a fun game. It would play like Metroid.

Hmm, I super smash on the ds....that would be a big change, it's not a bad idea actually. It maybe a little different in the way the controls are, but I think it would be great either way.
