That would be Awesome! online smash bros. for the DS would be sweet! the only worry I have is the same problem with a few games for the DS: It'll be really hard to play with the touch screen. However, that matters little for an ONLINE SMASH BROS. GAME!

I always thought that Nintendo would make a BOAT LOAD of money with a portable Smash Brothers that could be played through Wifi and ad hoc... this game would be AMAZING and a cult sensation for years to come. I'd totally hit that.

I would love it, i love the game for 64, and for gamecube, also i think it would have potential since we have wifi, online supersmash on a handheld! awesome! i wish they would make one

I actually prefer SSB on the TV screen. Get your friends sit together and have a wild party! On the DS everyone looks at the fights seperately, which makes the experience less exciting. On the TV screen, we can see everyone's character and can have lots mor fun.

im considering it a great expansion move for DS popularity for nintendo, but they mite decide to keep it solely to actual console games for some random reason o.0 that they prollie will never release to us

nintendo 64 and game cube smash bros were pretty good i have to say. i haven\'t tried it on ds yep but i\'m betting it a good portable smash bros i hope there are new characters and new areas to fight in. the first two were pretty challenging but fun at the same time.

dude to have SSB on the Ds would kick butt beyond all imagination, plus i could take it around, and my thumbs wouldn't hurt as much from joysticks.

I hope they make one... WiFi would be awesome on the DS. The graphics would be Super Smash Bros. (N64)-ish, but they're not bad.

Jump Stars really has taken the place of Smash on DS, I dont think its a high priority for Sakurai and his team right now.

i keep on emailing NP (nintendo power for those who dont know) and they just say "oh we dont know but there is some rumors goin around Nintendo HQ" and once as a reply the guy started doin "!@#$%" to me LOL (irrelavent i no) but the SSBDS might be true

well if they put to much extra crap in it it would suck big time but if they added more characters it would rock and what would they have on the secend screen health?

i think that would not b any goodI've heard info from some of my friends that there'll be a SSBDS version. and as my friends and I always organize NGC parties which always contain at least one cube for ssbm, I'd like to know if some of you have heard anything about a possible SSBDS.TIA, tha cloudbolt

there already is a game released in Japan called "Jump Superstars" and it also has a sequel. Go check it out.
