I would like to port it aswell with the exception of adding at least 5 more characters *cough banjo, sonic, spyro, crash, tails cough* whoa i just had the funny feeling sum1 with a username that starts with ~ just listed out all the perfect new characters for the game. wasn't me.

It would be almost impossible to have Banjo in (Property of Rare)... even less Sonic and Tails (SEGA), Spyro (Some other company).You can honestly forget Crash; he belongs to Sony and I doubt he'd just be lended to Nintendo like that.And although I think it'll never ever happen (due to the rivalry between Nitendo and Sony for example), it would seriously be nice to have a SSB-like game where characters from all systems/company would fight in it... a bit like King of the Fighters... just not that serious.I would like to port it aswell with the exception of adding at least 5 more characters *cough banjo, sonic, spyro, crash, tails cough*

As long as link and zelda are there i could care less... they should add gannon and tingle and add every boss from every characters game so they all have unique story modes... wooo man that would be awesome!

nintendo would be stupid if they didnt rls ssb. imagine how much money they would make if they rlsed ssb.wut i think there doing is releasing shonen jump all stars to see if an ssb style game works on the ds. and soon after ssb will pop out of nowhere.

think of it, if they make smash bros it will probably cost more money to make than it will make itself, because most of the people on other forums or even worldwide think smash bros sucks, because it is a n64/gcn game thats not 3d

lets clear sum stuff up about charactersBanjo - NO - owned by rare, microsoft owns rareSonic and Tails - possibly (sega has made some gamecube exclusive sonic games) but please god no they suckCrash and Spyro - unlikely, these are multiplatform games not exclusive to nintendo (anyway why would u want to taint smash bros with there crappyness, the thought of spyro on my gamecube in my house wants to make me stab myself in the eyes with a molten plastic spoon)

It's 3D, it's just sidescroller. i dont know a single person that thinks smash bros sucks, what the hell is wrong with whoever said that? It is Gamecubes best selling game by far, if u don't like it leave it to the millions that do to play online and have loads of fun

It seems logical to have SSBDS or at least a similar party game. Advance Wars DS will be a blast (no pun intended).

Surely it's only a matter of time before they port some version of SSB over to the DS? It's a great little game and would look great on this machine... the only problem I can see is how'd they'd incorporate the touch-screen in to the game play?

Maybe they would introduce new movesets per character and you can switch between them in combat by using the Touch Pad.Surely it's only a matter of time before they port some version of SSB over to the DS? It's a great little game and would look great on this machine... the only problem I can see is how'd they'd incorporate the touch-screen in to the game play?

yeah that would be pretty sweet...but instead of dreaming a SSB, play Jump Superstars, it's gameplay is similar to SSB but with Anime characters! Highly recommended game....sadly, it's import only.You can get it here at:http://www.lik-sang....oducts_id=6654

Yeah, but JSS is more complicated. Card usage, Koma, etc and when I tried playing, the fighting mechanics seemed a bit sub-standard. Im sure if I understood it though it would be awesome!
