If ssb were on The DS it would be one of my favorite games. If I ever found someone to multiplay with. Wait a sec, WiFi. I could play anyone at any time sweet. I would so buy it. B)

I love super smash just like anybody else so if they do it right and make it possible for multiplayer crazy fun time on the DS, I'm totally down

That is a good idea. I'm sure Nintendo has already started working on something like that, because it would be a huge success online.

I don't think it's possible to put ssb on the ds because of the missing analog stick used to differenciate walking, trotting, and dashing also normal attack, tilt attack and smash attacks. It also won't make use of the DS' original touch screen.

That would be sweet, and I'd definitely get it.They already made two smash brothers-esque games using anime characters... but they're Japanese, so I can't really play them.

I think that if they did it would be a smart move for Nintendo, I mean can you imagine what Smash Bros. would be like with WI FI handheld.

If nintendo makes a super smash bros. for the ds i will definitly buy it. i loved the super smash bros. melee game. although they cant make one as good as melee on the ds, a ssb would be nice.

I would assume that, just like Mario Kart DS doesn't have all the Gamecube features (two players on one cart, graphics, more items), if you look forward to SSBDS it will be weaker than Gamecube but better than N64.

I haven't heard a thing on this subject, which is why I am posting. I think a SSB for the DS would be fantastic. I just hope that if it is made, Nintendo.... doesn't use the touch screen. Maybe for quick things, but if it was used as a control scheme, I would flip because I really doubt that the touch screen could possibly fit all the functions... and besides, I love my button-mashing. :gay2:

Jump Superstars and Jump Ultimate Stars. They're japanese but you can easily find guides to translate and in Ultimate Stars, most of the menus have english. If you haven't played them yet, I advise you do. JUS also has wifi.

I think I would rather it stay on the consoles rather than move to the DS. It just doesn't seem like it would work out the best. The screen is too small for one.

Ok, the graphics in FF3 for the DS rock. Incorporating a wifi connection into the picture would hardly lag it, since it is a separate piece of hardware. If Nintendo could get the SSB characters with N64 quality onto the DS, they should have no problem at all getting it to be multiplayer.MechaAlpha, you have a good point. There won't be too many buttonmashers for long... as they break their own systems they'll fall offline leaving the true players to duke it out amongst themselves :)And a random WiFi thing I'm sure they could incorporate: When you KO another person, or get KO-ed, when you re-generate it could be at another level & with a different set of opponents. With everybody switching out like that, it would add variety to every single battle :)

Darkness infiltrates the light
_Have you seen the sun?
Have you seen the sunset?
It is the sun that runs
_The darkness is instant
But in the morning light prevails
_And a new day begins

When you download, platform-specific DPs are used first.
DPs can be spent by using some platform-specific DPs and some global DPs.
That took a load off your chest, didn't it?

I played the N64 smash brothers for a long time and I freaking love that game, but couldn't really get into the new one for gamecube. Anyone else suffer from that problem?
