It would be really cool and they could do it!(super Mario 64 DS)But if they end up decideing to make it then they would probably wait until Super Smash Bros Brawl is out.

Although there hasn't been any news yet, they would have to create a very robust online system. Considering they barely have an online system for the Wii, I believe they would wait until Brawl came out before it came out on the DS. SSBDS would be a great game though, if implemented properly.

my opinion is a big no, theres a reason that they have only been on consoles, the screen would be too small to accurately display all the actions, even using a small tv on gamecube gets tedious, the characters would end up being tiny, and the tiny details like which ice climber is which would get hard

Hey, I never thought Metroid Prime would work. But look at it go.Really, if any SSB lands in the DS, it's not a problem of processing power: anything that chugs Mario64 can chug away SSB. I'm just wondering how the controls would work... would they attempt to try and use the touch screen? That's what made the DS so unique. But it sounds like it'd work better just using the buttons, and that's kind of boring in the development sense. If you can do something fancy, and do it well, might as well do it. Just using the stylus for menus sounds kinda boring. But hey, the Wi-Fi part sounds great. Just move into a hotspot, hope someone else is playing as well, and Smash! Smash! Smash!

Well, there are the Jump ______ Stars games, so that style obviously can be done on the DS and done well. However, if it didn't feature some sort of single cart download play, even if it's limited, I'd really lose a lot of interest in it. Don't always have the same game your friend does and vice versa, and it'd be nice to not have to worry about that.

i think a super smash brothers game would be awesome for the DS. i'm not sure how they would incorporate the touch screen but i would definatley get together with a whole bunch of my friends and duel it out.

i would thnk that playing ssb on a ds would be kinda difficult in some ways becasue not all the buttons are there... ( example: z, c stick etc.)

I don't think SSB for DS is a good idea on such a small screen. Besides, Jump Superstars is an awesome game.

It would be ok, but the gameplay wouldn't be as fast paced and the levels wouldn't be as good.
