while it may not be as good it doesn't really have a lot of potential with the two screens and stylus, makes you wonder what they would be for. saying the i think it would be better for the gba at least..but unless new things can be incorporated into it it won't really play all that well

I think it would have great potential. Heck you can even take the original Super Smash, put some wifi online capability and you'll be just fine imo. I doubt anyone would reject it.

I doubt it, with the new release on the wii, that there is ever going to be a official release of SSB but i sure hope so and i hope the homebrew comunity is making one :D

The concept is pretty exciting, but the execution? I dunno,It would probably look like a smaller anti aliased version of the N64 smash bros. (which I don't think anyone would mind)but, I could see the controls being pretty stiff as well, while the DS has a nice layout, it would probablyfeel lacking to play SSB on it compared to GC controllers (or n64).

that would be cool it is a very awesome game...one of my favorites hopefully they will do that it will be something nice to look forward to

I wouldn't mind seeing this on NDS, I didn't have a gamecube so I've only played the game once or twice. If it were to come out on the DS I'd get a chance to actually see what all the hype is about over the gamecube version. Plus the fact that the DS is wifi and all i hear about is how good this game is going to be on the Wii with the online multiplayer, the same can be done with the DS.

This would be cool, especially if they could get it to work on Wi-Fi without major lag issues. Don't think it will actually happen though. Plus I have a feeling if it did, it might incorporate some touch screen options that may/may not be more of a burden on the player. Who knows.

YES! But can the DS handle something like that? If it would be a port of the N64 Smash Brothers...then it won't be too great.
