I hope that they make a super smash bros for ds. Every one is hoping for it.But not a Jump copy, and instead of nintendo character, they should put the dsversion of the characters. Like fox or mario and etc...

dude isnt that a pic of a concept NSMB thats already in stores the concept looks better then the actual thinganyways the ds has the same graphics as the N64 doesnt it? then probably they should port the N64 version and add new features or sumthinI've looked on IGN and havn't seen any SSB game for the DS anytime in the near future. I did find this.
The Graphics seem similar to SSB but apparently it's a remake of Super Mario Bros. You can check out IGN's image gallery. They also have a video clip of the game in action
there should be all the characters from ssb brawl then that would be so awsome

Ohh yeah what chracters do you think should be in it. Will for me its ;Mario Fox Luigi Wario YoishiLunar Knights( Lucian and Aaron)a whole bunch of anime characterThere is much more but i forget soo who would u put in it?

super smash has always been a hit no matter if it was for the n64 or game cube. i think super smash on the ds will be as great as a success as the previous ones.

Maybe you should read before you post. That was posted 3 years ago.I think a remake of the original would be a pretty good idea though. Adding WiFi and LAN play, maybe a few mini-games and bam! I don't know. The lack of analog makes it hard for us to play such a game. But here's hoping that they'll release it anyways. They've been lazy with just porting old 64 games onto the DS. I don't see why they'd pass on this one.

as much as i like jump ultimate stars for the game it is, i just cant get past the language barrier so a super smash bros on the ds would give me an erection.

I wouldnt like it. I like the fact that i can sit down with some friends on a big tv and all play together. I just think it would ruin the experience.

To me being on a traveling team for SSBM... i wouldnt like to see it go to DS.. becuase it would be very hard for the DS to Comply with all of the advanced movement with that game.... i dnt think it would beable to support fox wave dash shine cancel edge hog without lagging or freezing up..

POINTS were deducted for this post by PorumyI've heard info from some of my friends that there'll be a SSBDS version. and as my friends and I always organize NGC parties which always contain at least one cube for ssbm, I'd like to know if some of you have heard anything about a possible SSBDS.TIA, tha cloudbolt

Its entirely possible, but they would most likely tweak down the graphics to Jump Superstars level.

I think it would be pretty cool, but here are things to consider:-DS does not render 3d as well, so the graphics usually aren't THAT good.-If it made in 2d, it would be alright, but sprited characters may feel bland.-There's a analog stick for the Gamecube, which means that you can move the characters in 8 directions smoothly. There's a D-pad for the DS, and it's easier to use with the regular DS. It would be hard to move diagonal, except on the regular DS, which means only 4 directions would be used at most.Ideas====-A and B can still work like normal. L and R too. X can work just like the one on Gamecube, while Y can work like the Z button. No need for a C-stick too.-Online play-DS characters, take Jump Ultimate Stars for example. Not only did they not re-use sprites of characters featured, but they were completely changed. You can expect cool looking sprites.
