SSB on DS ! It was so successful on gamecube so it must be really good on the DS. But i think the controls will be worse than the gamecubes because it is unlikely that the touch screen will come into much use.

Yeah i agree SSB on the DS would be cool, but multiplayer would be a limited connection that lags for me....Whats the fun of SSB without smashing other real,organic people without lagging...(sorry but i kinda hate lagging even tho i often do)

I think a Smash Bros for DS would be totally awesome! Just imagine kicking people's butts from halfway around the world from them! It would be awesome to have a portable version of Super Smash Bros!

Hmmm... I think its a very good idea. Of course, a touch-screen based control-scheme would be disastrous, though. (Which is good, since SSBBrawl shows that Nintendo has no intention of messing with the controls anyway.) It'd be a simple enough process to transpose the GCN controls onto the DS, and the Wi-Fi would be a fun diversion.So as long as they don't add any touch-screen gimmicks, (or at least don't shove them down our throats) I'd love to see it.

I wouldn't mind if Nintendo actually made a Super Smash Bros. on the DS. I would want to know how they will make the game work with the DS.

There should be alot of use of the touch-screen and stylus along with classic smash bros. controls. Some of the attacks should involve using to touch sceen to aim.
