this is a stupid idea the ds is not made for fighting games it is more for rpgs and skill testing games

Might be possible, but since they are releasing ssbm for the wii, then i guess probably not...

I would love SSB on the DS but i would probably lose more often due to the larger multiplayer

Yeah, I agree with youthat would be awesome, but since the DS doesn't use cables to connect and uses a signal instead, the reaction time to connect multiple players MAY be a little slow

It all depends on how they integrate the touchscreen feature into the gameplay. I imagine using the touchscreen for spin moves and jumping.

Well, of course a SSB for the DS will be one of the best selling DS games of all time, without all that good controls. The touch-screen integrated into the controls may be confusing, so the touch-screen may be used just for stats. It all depends on how many new characters there are- and I'm hoping nintendo will stick to nintendo characters only.

I would love to have SSB for the DS, I'm a big SSB fan myself. It's very possible to get semi-decent gfx for SSB imo as the DS can play Diddy Kong Racing which has GFX on par with the N64. Lag shouldn't be an issue if you use broadband. The only problem might be the loading screens which can make the game a pain.
