I haven't heard anything about a SSB for DS..I figured nintendo was too busy with Brawl.

If they had a SSB for the DS that would be fun but kinda weird if u played WIFI @_@ the screen would kinda be 2 small and it would be like ahhh to handle haha I would DL it and see how it is but i wouldnt buy it :[

it would be cool but it's not going to happen because SSB hasn't ever came out for a handheld so it probably never will.

it will come out eventuallyI mentioned before on other posts that its very likely when super smash brothers brawl comes out nIntendo will make a super smash DS so people will buy both DS and WII version and u can link the 2 up for bonuses and other etc

Super Smash Bros was a big hit for the N64, and i personally think that it should come out for the NDS...to me it involves alot of trademark characters and trademark character games should come out for every console published!

the graphic quality would be limited but gameplay should still be fun. however i doubt super smash will make it and jump superstars won't come out in the US

They really should at least try to make it, I mean they made super mario 64 DS so we know they can put 64 graphics on the system.

i think this game is good for the ds because of its battle system but if nintendo wants to make ssb on ds they need to come up with a new sys tem or else its kinda boringHave you ever heard of Jump Superstars? it's made by Hal entertainment (people that made SSB) and looks very similar, check it out:

I've been waiting for something like that to happen, but I haven't read anything about it yet...Anyway, the NDS is like a N64 but portable. I think it is possible, but anyway it wouldn't be as good as SSBM, but I loved the 1st one so...SSBDS PLEASEEE! =P

ithink tha ssbds won't come so fast, beacouse nintendo and halaboratoy have just finished the ssb brawl so it might take a little time[about 2-3 years

I have entertained this idea before, it's a great notion, that you'd firstly, be able to play smash brothers where ever you want, and be able to play your friends over the internet (although you probably will be able to do this on brawl). Unfortunately, there probably would be very little use of the touch screen (probably only for menus, and such, maybe a mini-map, or for the use of special abilites?), and the small screens aren't really made for this sort of thing (in my opinion), if your too far away from each other, it would probably be impossible to see each other. Still, it's a very nice thought...
