I agree, Troggles. The DS does have good graphics and controls. I'm thinking maybe it would be double-tap to run, and tap+whatever_button for a smash attack, or attach something to the DS (namely an analog stick) for movement. Also, someone I know is a ROM hacker and is trying to modify Super Mario 64 into a Sonic game. Anyone know anywhere he could get the Sonic Rush Sonic 3d model? Also, what about how to put it into the ROM instead of Mario? He seems to be working real hard on that project and I thought I'd try to help him. :cheese:Well, the original SSB was on N64, and the DS can run games of that power pretty well. I think it would be great.

SSB for the DS? Absolutely! Not only would the graphics match or exceed the N64 version, but there could be the possibility of it running off of Nintendo Wi-Fi for a kick butt multiplayer. This way you could prove you're the best rather than just say it.

I hope not because I haet ssb from n64 and wii and I will never like this for nds. well, I am not fan.I've heard info from some of my friends that there'll be a SSBDS version. and as my friends and I always organize NGC parties which always contain at least one cube for ssbm, I'd like to know if some of you have heard anything about a possible SSBDS.TIA, tha cloudbolt

It would sell like hotcakes, it's probably the most famous modern Nintendo game.Even just the Old N64 version with WiFi multiplayer capabilities would be a very popular game.It'd be cool if Nintendo released two versions: Classic and New. With the new one having more characters and slightly updated graphics

It's a stupid idea, I'm sorry to say. As others have mentioned, the main draw of SSB is Multiplay, and its simply too hard to get a multiplay game started on a handheld system. Nobody is gonna bother.

I think it could be fun, Touch screen as item holder (pick up items then touch 'em to use 'em), there would be enough buttons, seeming as you only use the A,B, Y or X, and R buttons (atleast, I do) on the GC, and the graphics would be atleast better than the N64.But, it wouldn't have the "Smash bros" feel to it, Smash bros are games for consoles, been that way for as far as I know, and I wouldn't want it any other way.Greetz, Misterau.

I'd love SSB on DS. Since there are two screens as well that would add something. It would be awesome. I like Jump Superstars which is quite similar, but having SSB on DS would rock.
