SSB for the DS would be great. Wi-fi, multiplayer, and graphics can head for something that works for the DS (cell-shading or 2-D similar to Jump). The only thing I worry about is the lag on the Wi-fi network.

I heard about it once, but then they said it was not going to happen. Too much bytes.

Yes. Remake the original SSB, maybe add a few new characters and stages, and make it WiFi-capable.Best game ever, if they handle it correctly.

Even if SSB did come out on DS it wouldnt look as good as it does on console. but the controls would be easy to work with

I'd play it. Sounds awesome. Fight you friends where ever you go. A great way to settle an argument.

Because the DS does not use wires or controllers, it is likely you would be able to play with more than 4 people. That would be cool.

i think ssb for the ds would work because mario kart ds did a good job with the multiplayer and it doesnt lag that bad.

Have you ever heard of Jump Superstars? it's made by Hal entertainment (people that made SSB) and looks very similar, check it out: Posted Image

hey, isn't that the game with naruto and ichigo and stuff? gay...anyways, if they can make a natuto game on DS, a SSB is posible, i can envision people doing smash attacks with their styluses and graphics similar to that of the NGC with no lag at all, the NDS has the capability, but does Nintendo has the resources and intrest to make a game like this?

Yes. Freaking YES. Even if it was a lame remake of 64, it would be epic win and awesome.Still, I'm sure Sakurai would fill up 1/2 of the roster with space animals with landmasters #>_<.

I think it would be cool if it came... But it would be close to the flash version. (Which I'm not really fan of it)

Even now, the DS doesn't fit the style of fighting that Super Smash Bros. encompasses. I don't think it will ever work. A new handheld might be able to do it. ;0
